From the time a child is born, the task of the parents and society is to educate that child. If a child has no learning they will not survive. Parents are responsible for give a child the learning that they need. Since no one parent or person can correctly show children all things and since children need some entertaining people have taken the opportunities to put together books and children's programs to aid in the education of the children. the information that they have been given. The biggest difference between student-centered education and traditional education is that with student-centered education a variety of teaching methods are used (Blumberg, 2008). People all learn in different ways and at different levels and using just one standard teaching method does not always work for everyone. Learner-centered education is beneficial to both the teacher and the student in that it provides the perfect environment for hands on learning
There are various areas within the teaching role that are important in order to aid children through their development. There are three key principles; Planning, Teaching and Assessment (Education Scotland, 2011). Throughout this essay I will focus on how these principles affiliate children’s development and their learning. Two English Lessons completed during the introductory placement will underpin this evaluation. Planning At the core of any planning lies the National Curriculum. Before Planning
is not a an end product and the intent of the lesson was more about nurturing the ideas that the students have already subconsciously gained, whilst aiming to foster and enhance these values, in order for them to emerge consciously enriched. The teachings of Sankey and Kim (2013) under the umbrella of the Dynamic System Theory greatly influenced these decisions, were they stress a non linear and highly variable process of development, and thus, signifying an older age group does not quantify the need

Lauren Dursky and I decided that we would implement different forms of co-teaching for different subjects. It did not seem efficient to use the same method for each subject, so we decided to vary the instruction. For math, we decided to use station teaching. This allows students to discover a true understanding of each concept through different activities. This is how she was able to get involved with this type of work. She did mention a few struggles

Reflections and thoughtfulness about professional growth and instruction has become a part of my everyday routine while I have been student teaching. After each day, I take time to think about how the lessons for the day went and what I could do to improve as a teacher. Also, I get feedback from my mentor teacher and the co-teacher in the classroom on things that they noticed that I could improve

In reflecting from my field teaching lessons, I realized that there were many things that I was pleased with, but I also realized that there were many things I know I need to work on. Watching a video of you teach a class is the absolute best way to self-evaluate yourself. We are most critical of ourselves when we can see our work played back to us. This experience has not only been helpful in my teaching methods, but it has
