In some ethical and legal respects a pregnant woman and her fetus can be considered separate. Both the woman and the fetus are ordinarily affected by the well-being of one another for as long as each of them live. The ethical and legal issues are challenged deeply in cases where the well-being of the fetus and the mother appear to be in conflict. As a social system, the family can be thought of as a constellations of subsystems defined in terms of generations, gender, and role. Divisions of labor among family members define particular subunits, and attachments define others. Each family member participates in several subsystems- some dyadic (involving two people) and some polyadic (involving more than two). The father and child represent one dyadic subsystem, the mother and father another; the mother-father child represent one polyadic subsystem, the mother and two siblings another. Thus, a positive family climate for children and adolescents involves not only effective parenting but also a positive relationship

Writing 205 has taught me more then just writing stratagies, it has taught me who I am as a writer. Throughout the course of the semester I have learned new strategies, techniques, and tools that have helped me develop as a writer, as well as establishing my voice. Through vigorous course work I can say that I am more educated on writing skills in addition to annotating sources and genres. Reflecting back on this past semester I see how each unit has branched from each other as a guide for what was to come next. This made going from unit to unit flow in a natural way to achieve the best final product.
