was covered by an ice sheet 2.5 km thick with a density of 0.9g/cm³. Assume that the
crust at Hudson Bay is 40 km thick and has a density of 2.7 g/cm³. What was the
elevation of the rocks that make up the modern-day shoreline of Hudson Bay back when
these rocks were buried by the North American ice sheet, 10,000 years ago? In other
words, how far below sea-level were they pushed down by the ice? Assume mantle
density is 3.3 g/cm³.
