To discuss:
Between the muscle in your index finger and the back muscle, the one which has a greater ratio of motor nerve axons per muscle fibers
Introduction:
The motor neurons in the human body are involved in the conduction of impulses from the central nervous system to the respective muscle, organ, or gland. These are characterized by short dendrites and long axons. The nerve conduction ultimately results in the recruitment of the fibers and the production of force to facilitate the respective movement or responses to the stimuli. The force output can be described as a function of the product of the effective cross-sectional area of muscle fibers active in the parallel with specific force output of the fiber type in per unit area.
