Morgan Dix (1827–1908)

Dix, Morgan. An American clergyman and writer, son of John A.; born in New York City, Nov. 1, 1827; rector of Trinity parish, New York City, from 1862; died on April 29, 1908. His publications include: ‘Essay on Christian Art’ (1853); ‘Memoirs of John Adams Dix’ (1883); ‘The Gospel and Philosophy, Six Lectures’ (1886); and two vols. of ‘Sermons’ (1878–86).
