“Come here, look,” she would say, her voice trembling with every syllable, “we received an encrypted letter from Langley.” “What about it?” Mallory replied. “ICIS has been infiltrated and exposed. Erase all history of agents and missions and destroy any evidence of activity immediately. Failure to do so will have severe political and financial consequences.” she sobbed, on the verge of crying. “The time has come.” Malory muttered. “We’ve received a message of Agent Delta! It is not encrypted though!” Hank yelled outside. “You’ve heard the message, we will no longer have any ties to any of our field agents.” Malory responded, her voice colder than stainless steel, but as smooth as ivory. “You’ll get him killed!” she cried, a tear drop flowing down her cheek. The shell was ejected out the barrel of the weapon, spinning in midair. Lead sliced through the sky, darting towards its target. A faint white tracer followed along the bullet. Quickly, the bullet hit the green and blue barrels. A spark erupted, which soon turned into a blazing flower of fire. It rose into the sky like an angry god, yelling its thunderous roar. A silent killer, the shockwave, swiped out of truck and into the surrounding vicinity. Guards flew backwards onto the asphalt, screaming all the way. Perfect. An alarm began to blaze in the midst of the action. Red lights flashed. Ted strapped his weapon onto his back and began to sprint towards an entrance. A hail of fire came towards his right, but the rounds simply failed to connect. A door flung open and multiple guards came out. Wearing a navy blue vest, they seemed almost like copies of each other. Ted raised his rifle and aimed it towards them. Their bodies filled the ironsights. The guards weren’t even looking at Ted, but instead running in the other direction. They were stopped in their tracks by a few bursts of hot lead. He approached the door and looked inside. A single dim light illuminated a long passageway.
