It was close to 0200 hours when James began to suspect something was wrong, it was quiet… too quiet. Not to say that working night shifts at the FBI centre in Los Angeles was particularly loud or eventful but there was usually more activity whether it be an exhausted agent trudging to the break room for a cup of coffee or passing fellow night guard. He checked his watch 1:49 he had been due for a routine check up call from dispatch 4 minutes ago, Now this wasn't overly strange but worry began gnawing in his stomach.
His pace quickened “Hello?” he called out his voice reverberating around the empty facility, nothing. He passed more and more empty offices and storage rooms swinging the beam of his torch back and forth in a wide arc. There was

He thought and was about to creep away the voice ran out again “Oh don't go anywhere the party has just begun, I heard there was going to be a bonfire later”. James yelped and spun around to face where, she must have followed him down the stairs he lost his footing slipping and landing hard on his hip he looked up to where she was leaning casually against the door frame. She was tall and slender adoring a black catsuit and dainty lace mask around her blue eyes stood out as they stared at him. He struggled with his gun and pointed it at her, unfazed glanced down the hall “Where some of the your friends? shame…”. She shrugged peeling herself from the wall and clasping her hands “Right! time for it I guess, I think it was Clover who told me 2am was Witching hour, the hour of the dead” She laughed. “Oh and its nothing personal mate… You guys just have too much on me.” Then it clicked, Black …show more content…
But then with one quick moment that James couldn't really follow she drew a blade across The man’s neck. Ben’s eyes widen and let out a shocked gargle and fell to his knees swayed for a moment and fell to the floor still. “Good.” she finished brushing imaginary dust off her hands, James willed his arms to move to sit up, TO DO ANYTHING!. The woman pulled a cigarette out of god knows where and lit it pulling a long drag and visibly relaxing… looking over her handy
Obtrusively, the thunder bellowed outside and the roaring sound filled the small room like rock music to a broken soul.Amongst the thunder, raindrops could be seen ebbing down the windowsill forming undecipherable miniscule shapes and later sinking down in the wall to gather at the edge.
Out of the darkness, rivers of brilliant light and color began to flow all around her, as if a dam holding back a rainbow had miraculously burst. Then she heard the music... a melody so beautiful it tugged at her very soul. It was as if the euphony clothed her in an impenetrable blanket. She felt warm. She felt safe. Uncontrollably, tears welled up, the hymn gripping her heart, and she was forced to squeeze her eyes shut and instinctively her body curled into a protective ball.
He opens his eyes to see a slate white room. He turns his head to see a colossal amount of many different flowers. He hears a beeping beside the bed he is laying in. Then, he feels a rush of excruciating pain throughout his entire body. Suddenly, he feels as if somebody is tearing off his leg. He frantically yanks off the white sheets to reveal his a stub leg. He attempted to let out a scream but no air could come out. Finally, his mother runs in with decaying tissues in her hand and red puffy eyes. “Oh Derek!” she exclaims while thrusting him into her arms causing shocks of pain to circulate his body. “They said you might not wake up. Thank you! Thank you! Don’t worry it will be okay. Everything will be okay.” However, Derek didn’t believe anything she said. Nothing at that moment seemed okay. Derek closes his eyes hoping that if he fell asleep he could escape
The sign blinks and beckons at Alyssa from behind the misty sheet of rain. In bright pink flashing fluorescent it says:
When Alma heard her name called, she broke free of the mesmerizing kiss. Running toward the house, she felt the first mist of rain and was grateful. Gabe released her hand as soon as they reached the yard.
"Maya," Ash called out for her in a whisper from the other side of the room. She paced herself over being careful not to step on anything. Ash handed her the torch pointing his finger to a box located on the top shelf. The words had faded away over time but Maya's
“Why am I here? What happened to me? Who am I?” Everything was happening so fast, It felt like i couldn't breathe. I began to cry.
The rain got harder as Tina walked alone in tears. She missed her daughter Iris. Tina thought about all the good times they had together. She wondered why Iris had done that to herself. Iris was a skinny young girl who killed herself. Iris wa bullied at school for how far she was, so Iris decided to stop eating. Tina was walking in the rain. It had been a year since Iris was gone. She thought back to that day. Tina woke up and made herself some coffee. She nibbled on a muffin that she bought from the store yesterday. She took Iris to school and then went to work. Tina went throughout her day as usual, but what she didn’t know was that soon her daughter would take her own life. Iris got home and went up into her bedroom. Tina wouldn’t get home
She took a deep breath and slowly opened her eyes while emerging from the damaged spacecraft. Vibrant green grass awaited her along with trees all around and the smell of fresh rain dropping from the sky above. Raegan took a moment to wrap her head around what she had just experienced. It was only supposed to be a mission to collect data about the rings of Saturn. She was aware she went through something queer, something scientists said had only been a theory not yet proved. A wormhole; a fold in space. Raegan didn’t quite know where she was. All she had been aware of was that something went unplanned, which caused her to crash into a planet, perhaps in a distant universe. Anything could be possible in the infinite abyss we call space.
‘’Relax, I’m right here,’’ he assured. ‘’Let me go get a flashlight or something.’’ Theta whined, advising against it. He stayed right there.
A panicked yelp rang out in the distance, followed by a screech of tires. The women continued walking, only a few casting a wondering glance towards the noise. The church bell was ringing, merry as we exited the church and the wind blew gently. My mother and father engaged the locals in conversation, eager to know more about the island we were on, Nui Tapu Tapu, a place only really known because of the tsunami damage it took on in September 2009. “What is that?” I asked my mother, as I pointed to two men dragging something black behind them. Yet before she could answer, I figured it out for myself. A strange pit formed in my stomach as I watched them drag a young dog behind them. “That must have been what caused the screech earlier.” My mother
Two men stood on a platform observing the thick jungle below them the warm breeze doing little to help cool them off as the sun beat down on them, their eyes remained glued on the jungle below before noticing movement and the sound of a bell turning to look at the source of the sound seeing that it was just a cow wearing a brass bell. They watched it amble along without a care in the world while taking the time to stop for a bite to eat. The cow seemed relaxed and even comfortable in the jungle below as it lowered its head once more to continue to feast on the vegetation surrounding it, it seemed like there was nothing to see until the cow’s head shot up and shortly after a sound akin to thunder could be heard.
Waking up to see nothing, feel nothing, nothing at all. How would you feel about that when you woke up in the morning? For Carl it was a bit shocking, an 18-year-old teen. He didn’t know what was going on around him, but what he did know was that color was gone of the world, as if it never existed. For Carl, went about to ask what is going on today? Why nothing had color at all? No one ever responded to him as if he was a ghost; it literally drove him mad and his head exploded with rage. No one even noticing him yelling with frustration, so he walks out of the school to go home. Again he notices everything around him is so doll and boring as if people are walking around like zombies.
It was a hot, summer morning in late June when I heard barking outside my door. It was my dog, lucky, trying to wake me up. I got up and went downstairs.
“Uh, yeah- I guess you can say I enjoy a cup of coffee every once in awhile.” I try to casually laugh it off to no avail.
