Currently I am a contracted freelance writer at three online companies. I just began being paid for writing this year. I joined one company in January, one in February, the third in March. They are all considered "content farms". The first two companies work relatively the same, the third is a bit different in that it it pays in lifetime royalties. I have only wrote five articles for the third company. They have the most astringent requirements and their articles are all 500 words, in third person, and require writers to provide sources in the footnotes. The first two companies have you write articles for your application in order to rate your quality.
