For language to have “an art” it must bring the reader something which is not expressly written in words, it must contain symbols which transports the reader to a different level of realization. The words must be able to bring the read to the place. They have to experience the emotional ties of the environment, the smells and excitement, the fear and the horror. This experience is given both directly and indirectly by the author but either way the reader still envisions, sees the action taken place and in so becomes attached to it. The art is allowing the reader to experience what the author experienced. In Ellen Collett's "The Art of the Police Report”, Martinez uses the diction and placement of the words to make the reader, as they are reading,
A Field Training Officer (FTO), Rutledge (Author), is on patrol with a patrol officer. He has to type his first police report and is not doing a good job. His officer was disappointed at what he had read in his report; he’s going to show the rookie how it’s done. The officer’s report was not only 50% longer, but full of jargon. The rookie cop stated, “Why do we write like that?” “Because that’s the way we’ve always done it,” replied the officer. After years of being a cop and writing real police reports, Rutledge became a prosecutor. After numerous trails, Rutledge was still boggled at the way police reports were written. So he decided to ask

We certainly know that the direct responsible for Duncan’s death is Macbeth. However this does not necessarily mean he is to blame, for his violent death is obviously the consequence of certain influences that forced Macbeth to perform his fatal deed. Furthermore, to unearth the truth about who is really the guilty for Duncan’s murder we must explore the influences the different characters have on Macbeth’s impulses and the overall scenario of the slaying.

The police report ((Crash Report Number/Agency Case Number 16-238828) (Report Date 9/6/2016) has numerous inconsistencies and beginning with the license plate. The police report stated that my dad’s license plate was a “Veteran Plate” when in fact it was a “Patriot” plate depicting an American Bald Eagle, the New Mexico flag, and the U.S. flag. The second contradiction was the color of my father 2014 Kia Sedona, which in the report stated that it was “Silver”, the true color of the van is “Silverstone Beige”. The van was more beige than
I spent my third and fourth session of my practicum with Constable Dwayne Harrison and Constable Paul Davis. Both members of the Lethbridge Regional Police Service (LRPS) are in the patrol unit; responding to calls and investigating. Patrol work is broad, responding to calls that mostly consist of theft, mischief, and domestic. It defines the police as a public service and making the public happy to have someone to solve their problems.

King Duncan, murdered at the age of 89 on January 11, 1607, was a strong and noble leader who loved and protected the people of his country. A destined hero, and a beloved King of Scotland. He was born on March 26th, 1518 in Dunsinane, Scotland to Lady Macella and King Luther lll. He was an only child and got married to Lady Suthen at the age of 14. He had two sons, Malcolm the older son who was to be the Prince of Cumberland, and Donalbain who will lead the Scotland Army. Duncan never harmed anyone who would look up to him, and never looked to betray his people. Though it was apparent Duncan would soon face death because of his age, none thought it would be so soon, and none thought it would be to murder. King Duncan was not just a man who

In 1994 a report by the Mollen commission on police corruption in New York exposed disproportionate corruption within the department. Violent crime, including gang type activity, cops in uniform routinely storming drug locations and stealing narcotics, money weapons and whatever they felt like taking. On duty police officers riding alongside drug dealers, providing protection while the dealers carried big amounts of drugs and cash. The commission also found cops who became drug dealers themselves starting up their own drug dealing networks and delivery centers. (Neighborhood Explanations) Although most officers are honest and hard-working, the Mollen report exposed serious, violent activity by some in the department.
