Investigator Peter Parker was tasked with photographing the crime scene and all evidence. Investigator Daphne was tasked with preserving the tire tread, which had been observed at the end of the driveway, and producing a casting of the evidence. Investigator Fred observed a large boot print n the soft earth, just outside the front entrance, adjacent to the concrete steps and obtained a stone casting of the impression. Crime Scene Detective, Sherlock Holmes collected the .22 caliber handgun found at the scene for ballistics testing and printing. Dr. Stiff collected the body of the deceased for processing at the County Morgue and to determine official time and cause of death.
Search Pattern
It was determined to utilize the grid Search Method to properly canvas the area for possible evidence due to the possibility of observing more area in an in-depth manner. This consisted of using specific lanes, and the changing to a perpendicular direction to in fact retrace the same ground, thus yielding a second set of eyes over the same area as described in the Guide for Law Enforcement (NFSTC, 2013).

Since the time that the scientific science dramatization "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" turned into a tremendous hit and generated its fans, reporters have been worried about what they instituted the "CSI Effect." The hypothesis behind the effect is that fans of the well-known show disguise misguided judgments about the law that they bring with them into the court as jurors. In this way, the trepidation is that the TV show is at last influencing the results of trials - and not in a great manner. Criminal justice researchers have started to study the inquiry of whether nationals who are called to serve on juries bring unreasonable desires and convictions to the court as a consequence of TV projects. The impact that these projects may have on the jurors, their desires, and their choices is known as the CSI effect.

Like you see in the Crime scene investigation shows like CSI and Bones, there are many things that go into investigating shows a lot of those things happen but it takes much longer than forty or sixty minutes to solve the crime. While crime scene investigating is very serious job, collecting evidence at crime scenes requires education and knowing of what you're doing, requires hard work, and it can be difficult to perform this job.

At 3:19 in the morning on October 24, 2002 to be correct ballistic identification was instrumental in helping Montgomery County Police Chief Charles Moose and a group of examinations find the Washington DC territory snipers that was threatening the Washington DC zone throughout 23 long days. Tragically 10 individuals had been indiscriminately gunned down and three were critically injured while completing activities in their everyday life such as taking a casual walk, shopping at the Spotsylvania Mall, attending school, pumping gas, eating out, and going to work. A big break in the case came ironically from the sniper themselves. On October 17, 2002 an anonymous caller claiming to be the snipper boasted that he was responsible for the murder
Next thing they have to do is to secure the crime scene. Officers have to scan
I have always loved suspenseful whodunit television shows, movies, and books that use forensic science to crack the cases. My favorite television show is The First 48, my favorite movie is The Silence of the Lambs, and my favorite book is The Body Farm. Therefore, I was excited to have the opportunity to take this course and learn even more about the subject of forensics. This essay gives a summary of N. E. Genge’s book, The Forensic Casebook: The Science of Crime Scene Investigation, and includes the things I disliked and liked about the book.

Introduction Crime scene reconstruction is the process of determining or eliminating the events and actions that occurred at the crime scene through analysis of the crime scene pattern, the location and position of the physical evidence, and the laboratory examination of the physical evidence.1 Reconstruction not only involves scientific scene analysis, interpretation of the scene pattern evidence and laboratory examination of physical evidence, but also involves mathematics which is playing such an increasingly important role in crime scene investigations. Mathematics can helping forensic scientists work out a range of problems including the trajectories of bullets, fingerprint recognition and the speed of moving vehicles, that an understanding
