As one of the Founding Fathers, Alexander Hamilton wrote the Federalist No. 23 The Necessity of a Government as Energetic as the One Proposed to the Preservation of the Union expressing his view on the weaknesses of the Articles of the Confederation therefore showing that he would propose an idea that will facilitate the current issue that America is facing, issue about the national security and relationship with other nations. He also emphasized the need of the consent of the governed, though, he also reasoned out that if in any situation whereas the people are endangered by any foreign attacks etc. the government should be able to rescue as soon as possible. He claimed the need of balanced powers in the government, the need to ratify the constitution in order to fulfill the needs of the people, and to avoid having corrupt and undisciplined body of system. Indeed, he was a self-sufficient man, his capability to face challenges that life had given him was extremely admirable. Hamilton obtained scholarships due to his notable writing skills (Columbia Press). As a result, he was admitted to the bar in New York where he majored in Law (Brookshier). In addition, he worked for a mercantile firm of Baekham and Chiger (Columbia Press). Then, he served as a captain in New York Artillery Company whereas he was discovered by George Washington, as a result he became colonel to Washington’s staff (Brookshier).
