With a world full of discord and anxiety, it's no surprise that the future captivates our frazzled society. Many are convinced that the future is already determined, that one does not have say in their future. While others believe in free will of actions that sculpt their future through choices. One fate is decided by family, environment, social status, self control, love, influence from others, and tendencies of their soul. To shape one’s fate he/she must 1st lose the childish habit of blaming others for their unhappiness. Although many people think destiny is something determined before one’s birth they seem to forget that people make decisions. One's response to a scenario that is given may shape how they will live the rest of their life. In the Elizabethan plays , Macbeth, by the playwright, William Shakespeare, demonstrates how crazy ambition can be a damaging force to your future. In the play, the antagonists, witches, make two prophecies, regarding Macbeth. Macbeth shall be named as Thane of Cawdor and then king.“All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Glamis! All hail, Macbeth! Hail thee, Thane of Cawdor! All hail, Macbeth! That shalt be King hereafter!” Act I, Scene III, Line(s) 51-13. The witches are identified as both evil and magically authoritative. After this meeting, Macbeth starts thinking about killing the king. Macbeth concludes his emotional pondering and says that he is going to leave his future to “chance”. If “chance” wants him to be crowned king
