Throughout history one of mankind's greatest struggles has always been his unquenchable quest for power. A great example of this is the book the animal farm written by george orwell it is a book about animals getting tired of being slaves so they overthrow their farmer only to be ruled by a pig named napoleon. The animal farm also directly correlates with the russian revolution where the book talks about napoleon the pigs rise to power the russian revolution is where joseph stalin's power began to rise. The main causes were the poverty of the peasant class, the rise of the urban industrial class, and the inefficiency the Tsarist regime. The peasant class had a role in the revolution due to the fact that most did not want to be farmers any more. Mostly, because many were in debt and couldn’t pay it off so they sought out better jobs in the big cities but consequently they were given minimal pay, awful living conditions, and little to no rights as workers. The rise of the industrial class went hand in hand with the peasant class as the industrial class more or less controlled the peasant class who had no choice but to get jobs at the big industries. The tsarist regime was one of the biggest parts of the revolution mainly due to the commander using the regime to silence the people and crush the anyone who opposed him instead of helping his people or using the advice of his fellow leaders or the guide of the russian …show more content…

Some of the effects after the russian revolution were the end of the commanders rule, led to communism, free education, improved work days. The end of the commanders rule came when the the war ended but was a double sided coin when one's face down another has a chance to take the spotlight this of course was communism proposed by vladimir lenin which basically is the government telling you what you can and cannot do and more or less has complete control of your life. There are however some upsides to not being able to choose what you want to be in life and that is you don't have to pay for any education it was in fact all free. Although, you were taught communist ideals and that it was a good thing and the government made sure you had a place to live, it may have not been a three story penthouse but it was livable. Not the worst situation in the world really. Another upside is vladimir lenin was really a sweetheart in disguise and just wanted everyone to get back home to their family earlier and created the shorter eight hour work day that greatly improved working
