The state of Florida is the region most susceptible to the effects of global warming in this country, according to scientists. Sea-level rise alone threatens thirty percent of the state’s beaches over the next 85 years. Climate change and global warming refer to the body of scientific evidence showing that the earth’s environment is warming due to human activity, including the burning of fossil fuels and deforestation. It is accepted science all over the world. Climate change in Florida has many effects such as the increase of our sea level and global warming this issue will cause a dramatic change in 2050.

Florida’s environment is a sub-tropical atmosphere, with hundreds of species of animals. Along the coast is were Florida’s natural wildlife and vegetation thrive; however, Florida has a serious issue that impacts its coastal environment. Each year global warming contributes to rising sea levels across the globe. Although Florida’s Coastal environment has survived for thousands of years, the increasing sea level along the gulf coast over recent years, has caused severe damage. Additional research is needed to understand the impact of rising waters on Florida’s Coastal eco-system.

Climate change is the term used to describe the warming of the average surface temperature on earth. Climate change; often referred to as the general term global warming, is a topic that often inspires fierce debate among those on both sides of the issue. One thing those who are pro and those that are con both agree on is that the temperature on earth has increased over the past century by an average of 1.4 degrees. The big debate on the two sides is if the warming temperatures are caused by human activities and if it is not stopped it will have dire consequences (the pro side) or if it is the result of natural causes and the earth’s surface will find ways to adapt such as crops becoming more heat resistant (the con side).

As these changes frequently occur in future decades, they will likely present challenges to our society and environment.

Climate change refers to the change in climate which can be attributed directly or not directly to human activity which alters the composition of the global atmosphere. Climate change is a problem that needs to be addressed. If climate change is not addressed, there will be an increase in higher temperatures, and with the increase in higher temperatures, the oceans will rise, and this will affect the vegetation. In addition, climate change puts wildlife because if the warming continues, many Earth’s species will die. Climate change especially due to global warming may lead to increased risks of floods, droughts and fire and this is a threat to humanity. Higher temperatures leads to an increased amount of evaporation leaving the land dry thus droughts and these dry areas are susceptible to fires. Also, when the rains come, the dry areas that have been impacted by droughts will be vulnerable to floods and this can wash away houses, livestock and even cause a number of deaths. Therefore, climate change is a global problem.
