For several years, researchers group together to find the right direction in analyzing how homeless people can acquire a better framework in a direction of regaining their dignity and integrity. Researchers were able to create an assessment tools that eventually produce a meaningful result. This paper will discuss the different tools that can assess the homeless people in developing the necessary guide to overcome their present difficulties, mentally and physically. Assessment tools in different model but the tools selected for the homeless people are descriptive and appropriate. The outcome of the total stress score were within the acceptable level of the DSP, which was high in time pressure and low in the vocational environment. The reliability of the DSP is an acceptable measurement based on the evaluation from different sources. By analyzing the Derogative Stress Profile, this is the possible test and obtains a source of information in assessing the homeless people in regarding their psychological situation. Homeless people are in a distressed situation, in the sense; they have to think how they will survive each day. They do not have a source of income, a place to live, are unkempt, and no stable place to stay or sleep. Based on their situation, their psychological situation appears compromised. The second tool that is also appropriate for homeless people is the Beck Depression Inventory. Beck Depression Inventory is "a series of questions developed to measure the intensity, severity, and depth of depression in patients with psychiatric depression". (Beck, 1984). This measurement consists of 21 questionnaires and each with 4 responses needed. Each response corresponds to a score, from zero to three, to indicate for the severity of depression. The questions consist of an assessment of self dissatisfaction, pessimism, mood swings, the feeling of failure, guilt, dislike of oneself, blaming one's self, the feeling of punishing self, suicidal ideation, irritability, crying spells, withdrawn from the social life, body image issues, work
