What is National Honor Society? National Honor Society is a group of prestige students that are leaders, scholars, role models, and serve their communities. These students go on to accomplish great things. I am going to give examples of how I demonstrated the qualities of National Honor Society, scholarship, leadership, service, character.

The National Honor Society is made up of four main pillars, which include: scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Scholarship deals with one’s academic commitment to continuing to learn new things and not give up on education. Those with leadership make it their priority to help lead others and keep things under control and on track. Service involves one’s ability to provide, assist, or benefit others in need without expecting anything in return, for example, volunteering in a food packaging factory to provide food to the homeless and the hungry. Character is what defines and distinguishes one person from another, and shows the intentions and goals of a person.

NHS serves those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. NHS is a great opportunity for students to serve the community. I have plans to improve MHS National Honor Society and make it even better. To make NHS better I would make sure that students get to know everyone and not just stay with their friends, I would make sure that the service projects are helpful to the community, and I would make sure that the activities interest the students into coming.

My involvement in NHS has taught me how to work hard and stay dedicated. I have been in charge of several committees through NHS, including Pennies for Patients, ShoeBox Recycling, and a blood drive, which required numerous hours of commitment in

I see the National Honors Society as a volunteering and discussion opportunity with other diligent students that brings out leadership and encourages service. The one thing I am looking forward to above all others if I am selected to this group is the great privilege it will be to surround myself with other enthusiastic students. Since NHS is a group of motivated individuals I think we really need to push the students who are accepted to achieve even more than they already are and I hope I can become a member that is able to bring together the student body in order to set and achieve greater more ambitious goals within Pioneer High School and the Ann Arbor Community.

I would be delighted to be a member of the National Honor Society for a number of reasons. One of the main reasons being that NHS gives you a better chance of being accepted into a quality college as well as making you eligible for certain scholarships. I have been taught that being a part of NHS is a privilege and special honor that can only be awarded through hard work and success. Knowing this I have worked hard to be eligible to become a member. I believe I should be a member because of my distinction in leadership, scholarship, and community service.

National Honor Society is a crucial part in a student’s life as it is an organization that demonstrates leadership through characteristics, behavior and great excellence. This organization encourages other students to work harder to become a member of NHS. It would be a great honor to be a NHS member during high school because I understand that it is a selective group. I am a student, who through service and leadership, have demonstrated that I am a well-organized, willing and a cheerful student with initiative.

Being inducted into the National Honor Society means access to scholarships, attending community service projects, and becoming a part of an elite group of peers. To me however, NHS is more than that. Being a member of the National Honor Society means joining with others in representing an idea. This idea is to better oneself, the community, and others. As a member, one would demonstrate this idea in how they approach every situation they encounter. Becoming a member of the National Honor Society would mean that I, myself, exhibit this idea in the way I live my life. That is the goal I strive for.

The National Honor Society recognizes students with great academic progress and outstanding role out of school. The qualities of leadership, character, and service are built upon responsibility, cooperation, and dedication. I believe I show these qualities through my extracurricular activities and leadership opportunities. As a member of NHS, I want to support and inspire others.

I feel I should be a part of the National Honor Society because I show a willingness to help others. I try to the best of my ability to be a leader, and I am creative as well as keep a positive attitude so others may as well. It is not easy, because you need to sacrifice your time and effort. When I received the letter for eligibility of becoming National Honor Society, I was very excited.

National Honor Society truly is a honor to be accepted into. National Honor Society represents scholarship, leadership, service, and character. I believe since I was young I have shown compassion and leadership needed in our society. That is why this is the right society for me.
