Big Sean (real name Sean Michael Leonard Anderson) is an American Rapper. He spent his early life before becoming a rapper being raised in Detroit by his parents. Even though he was raised in Detroit he was born in California by his mother Myra Anderson. When he was a kid he had attended Detroit Waldorf School and graduated from Cass Technical High School with a 3.7 GPA. In his later high school years he would gain a valuable relationship with Detroit hip hop station WHTD, which would serve to kick off his rapping career. By showing his rap skills to the Detroit station he was allowed into a rap battle competition. This relevancy gave him the ability to meet esteemed rapper Kanye West and show off his rapping ability. Kanye had only allowed him a small verse in order to impress him, in which Big Sean apparently delivered. This freestyle by Big Sean had impressed Kanye West so highly that he requested that he give him a demo tape, and this demo type had given Kanye the incentive to sign Big Sean to his label two years later. By being the first white rapper to justify his popularity and prove his ability in the post Vanilla Ice era, Eminem has not only allowed himself to be successful, he has reopened the world of rap to other white artists.

To get to the place where he is today, he had to fight like a warrior. He fought until he got signed to Roc-A-Fella, but soon after he got signed, he got into a serious accident that caused his jaw to be wired shut. Thankfully that didn’t stop him.
