The enormous support of all wrestling fans is being heard and the sound level is so loud that it feels as though the building is shaking.Your name is being announced on college wrestling biggest stage. Sweat and tears of accomplishment are rolling down your face. All the suffering this sport brings the hard practices extra runs and lifts the cutting weight it all paid off. You are a NCAA all-American, every wrestlers dream.

When I was asked to take a picture of something on Centenary campus that was meaning full to me,the first idea that that came to me was Centenary wrestling All-American trophies. Buying in is just doing the right things to the best of your ability. It affects both your personal and wrestling life. If you truly buy in it almost becomes a fool proof path to become a All-American. As a college wrestler that trophy affects every aspect of my life. Everything I do has a positive or negative affect on achieving my goal and becoming a All-American. Another phrase Coach Garrquies implants is “ living the good life”. Living the good life means being respectful and responsible. If follow the guidelines implanted in us you grow as a wrestler and a man.

Centenary highest ranking trophy is JD Zitone. He placed second in 2013. This is Centenary highest place in school history. JD first went to Delaware Valley College,Delaware valley also had a very talented heavy weight Cody Garden he was a four time state champ and a four time high school national champ. Cody Garden. After JD wrestled off Garden he did not start at Delaware Valley, JD transferred to Centenary, his first year he won conference and was a round away from All-American.
