Causes & Effects of The American Revolution
In October 7, the proclamation went into being a taxing Massacre and The Tea Act prohibited settlement of west Appalachians. Before war the relationship among the colonist and British was peaceful. After some time, the relationship between the colonist and the British led to the revolutionary war and the formation of a new country. At the start of the American Revolution, both the British and the colonists had many difficulties to face. This paper will examine the specific causes and effect of the American Revolution. The French and Indian war also known as The Seven Years' War. Began in 1754 and ended in The Treaty of Paris in 1763. The conflict between the French and the British resulted in virtual expulsion of the French in North America and the rationalization of taxing Americans to earn back monetary losses due to the British winning the war. Tension between the British and Americans grew even more severe when parliament passed the Townshend Act. The act issues taxes on in-demand imports such as glass, paint, paper, and tea. The outcome of it was a colonial boycott against the British products. Trade between England and America fell off by 50 percent as a result of the boycott.
