I am writing to express my interest in joining your extraordinary group of Certified Nurse Midwives. As you all know, I am an April 2017 graduate of the University of Michigan Nurse Midwifery program. During my clinical semesters in the program, I had an incredible volume and variety of clinical experiences at Planned Parenthood in Detroit, Henry Ford West Bloomfield, and of course at the University of Michigan Health System. I hope to begin my career as part of a full scope midwifery service at a hospital such as U of M that promotes autonomy for CNM’s and promotes physiologic birth. I also look forward to utilizing the leadership skills I’ve developed as a charge nurse, the professional advocacy experience gained through involvement in
As a graduate of the Doctor of Nursing Practice in a Family Nurse Practitioner specialty, I aim to challenge myself further in the field of nursing by providing efficient and effective care to individuals of all ages. In the role of Family Nurse Practitioner, I will be able to care for infants, adults, and elderly patients, and help them to manage acute and chronic illnesses. I will also focus on improving quality of life by offering preventative care options to patients. Furthermore, I would be able to provide more in depth care and establish rapport with patients and families to help them care for their own personal health through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Currently, as a Registered Nurse on a Cardiology Intermediate Care Unit,
As an acute care nurse practitioner I hope to utilize my experience as an Intensive Care Unit nurse along with clinical knowledge and skills acquired through a graduate level program to provide the highest quality patient care. In my current role, I place high value on patient-family centered care and advocacy as well as commitment to lifelong learning. I have built my nursing career upon these values. I am excited to begin the journey of becoming an acute care nurse practitioner and to further my education and expand my scope of practice in the field of critical care, for which I have already developed a passion.
Being a nurse not only means compassion, dedication, and intelligence, but the profession also requires endurance, personal sacrifice, and the need for continuous education. I have learned that nurses are some of the most caring and selfless people that anyone will ever meet. Nurses are more than willing to complete challenging tasks and care for others in a way that the majority of people are unwilling to. I am driven to bring all of these qualities into my role as a future nurse practitioner, which is why I am committed to pursuing my Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP).
During my life I was taught education is important to make it in today’s society. So because of that I went to school for C.N.A. (Certified Nursing Assistant) straight out of high school in 1992. After working in this field for a couple years I decided that this field wasn’t what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I then decided to work in the Customer Service field with varies companies like BellSouth in the repair department and Carnival Cruise Line in the reservation department. In June of 2003, I took a break to have my third daughter that was premature. After being out of work for about two years I decided to go back to school. I enrolled in University of Phoenix to study Healthcare Administration. After completing the degree in Healthcare
I am applying to the New Graduate Nurse Residency Program offered in the intensive care setting. I am currently completing my first year as a bedside nurse on 4th Medical Cardiology and I am an excellent candidate for this specialty program.
Hi to whom it may concern, I Arword Resima a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) student currently waiting to take my state boards test so I may begin to work in my assigned field. I am writing this letter to get an approval or a waiver from The Department of Health Board of Nursing. So, I may be able to take my exam. In the year of 2013 I went into great depression to the point I became suicidal, this is what lead me to commit the crime I was charged with. I was charged with a third degree felony. I only had to serve six months I received time served and the judge withheld adjudication. During my time in jail I realized what great mistake I have made and how I was willing to end my life because of the pressures of life. Since then I have become
The nursing field gives a person the opportunity to work with and care for elderly, sick, and injured patients. I want to join the registered nurse team because they take on multiple medical settings. Registered nurses are known as RNs. They are responsible for multiple things. Being a RN has a lot of responsibility. The topics I will be covering are: job description, specialties, trends, salary, benefits, and required trainings. These are essential things that a person needs to know before going into nursing school.
Since I can remember I have always had a compassion and natural desire to care for my fellow man. Now having this opportunity, I remain committed to this task. During my nursing career as a Registered Nurse, I allow myself time to grow clinically and to expose myself to a variety of health care emergency situations which continues to be very valuable to me in strengthening my career. It is very fortunate that I have the opportunity to be in a position to where I am today.
May I express my keen interest to apply for a job in your institution as a Registered Nurse Division 1. I have heard a lot of positive things about Alfred Health specifically Caulfield Hospital, which is one of the leading rehabilitative facilities here in Victoria. I spent my clinical placement there in the Sub-acute Aged Care Unit (Ch-12 ACG) in Alfred Health (Caulfield) for four weeks and the learning experience by far has been awesome and inspiring. I have a great passion in both geriatric and rehabilitative nursing and I am convinced that Caulfield Hospital would be the best place to sharpen my knowledge, attitude and skills as a nurse in the given fields.

Since I was a little girl I have always aspired to become the strong, caring woman that my mother is. As an Army nurse, I knew that caring for the sick and injured was what my mother did for a living and I always admired her compassion and desire to help others. Although she is compassionate and caring Helping others has always been at the forefront of my chosen major during my undergraduate studies. Studying psychology at University at Albany has allowed me to see the capacity of which a psychologist would work in.
Health care is constantly and drastically changing and evolving. From the time of its introduction around 1800 BC, several key breakthroughs have helped to revolutionize the world of medicine that we utilize today. These discoveries and others allowed and continue to allow an abundance of people to live past a common cold and to receive vital medical care. With the help of my education, I stand to make an impact on modern medicine like many before me.
I am Marvis Asonye, a young teenager who was born and raised in the town of Reggio Emilia in Italy but emigrated to the land of the free in the year of 2008. I was raised in a Catholic and Nigerian home, therefore there were certain rules and high expectations that had to be met to be considered as an obedient child. Education has always been a number one priority in my house.
After receiving my bachelor’s degree in Nursing, I plan to continue my education through graduate school, earn a Master’s degree, and then go into the workforce of working as an operating room nurse. Although it is not mandatory for students to attend graduate school after completing their undergraduate education, I believe continuing education proves how dedicated and determined we are into pursuing our career. In addition, there is a correlation between the amount of time spent in advancing your degree and how much your income is. Therefore, an extra year or two of school is definitely worth the shot of earning a higher salary for my career job so I can support myself with life-sustaining needs.
I have seven years of experience in nursing practice, including cardio thoracic intensive care unit, medical, surgical oncology ward and emergency room unit. I coordinated and collaborated with health care team and provided patient cantered care with a holistic approach at my work. We focused our service in an anti-oppressive and anti-racist framework which changed the patient’s life meaningfully which would be further discussed at York. I ensured compliance with standard of nursing practices and ethical principles during my career.
