The characteristics of outstanding scholarship, leadership, character, service and citizen definitely apply to me as an individual. The characteristics of outstanding scholarship apply to me as an individual because I have maintained a 4.0 grade point average for the first two trimesters and will continue to maintain a 4.0 grade point average. The characteristics of excellent citizenship relate to me because I have never gotten suspended, expelled, or a detention and have never had excessive tardiness. Not to mention, I demonstrate participation and involvement in all my classes. Most people don’t care what happens to others who need the help. Luckily, we invented food banks, Wounded Warrior Project, and plenty of other things. I would like to be part of National Junior Honor Society because the very origin of the society came from service. I realize that to be a part of the society, I will need to work hard to get where I want to be.

Wild horses of Asstatuge live in Maryland. Asstatuge is an Island so the horses are shown in water. The horses on Asstatug Island survive from each other. Asstatuge's horses are herds of horses so they do not have an owner. That's why they are called wild horses because there don't have an owner.

I would be a good representative for the National Junior Honor Society. I believe this because of two things. The first reason is that I get exceptional grades. I try my best to maintain my average over 95. I do not fret when I get a bad grade. Instead I think of it as an opportunity to try even more on the next test or quiz and a chance to learn from my mistakes. The other reason is because I enjoy helping others. I like to help my fellow classmates with their homework if they do not understand it.

This past year, I have been motivated to keep up my grades and work hard because of Adams' National Junior Honor Society program. I have aspired to be in the Society since I read it over the summer on the Adams website. I was so excited when I received this letter because it meant I had a chance at making the program. I want to be in NJHS because it will teach me how to manage my time, organize events, and work with others. Working with others who also value academic success contributes to my will to be in the program. Together, we can help each other grow and thrive in the community. We can also collaborate to help those in our community who aren’t in the position to speak out for themselves. I read about an NJHS group that organized an event where they donated toys to children who are less fortunate. They spoke out in school and changed the lives of many young, unhappy children through the program.

I came into Norwalk Community College looking for a fresh start. I previously attended a 4 year university that became too much for me; attending school full-time, working 30 hours per week while trying to enjoy the college experience. At the cost of an “experience” I ended up failing most of my classes, putting my health at risk drowned by the tremendous amount of stress and just wanted to completely give up. Looking for a fresh start I decided to leave my University, and attend Norwalk Community College. Though this decision created self-doubt in the beginning, it soon came to my realization that it was the best decision I ever made. Immersed in an environment full of positive people, I was able to put my pieces back together.

When you walk into the fair from the entrance you can see the dirt in the air. The smell of the popcorn is like a peaceful smell. The sound of tractors is loud and it kind of sounds like a buzzing bee. The feel of the dust on my face makes me feel sticky. Also, the taste of my walking taco is delicious every bite. I had to throw the football into 3 hoops and I missed. I was mad because if I got all 3 footballs in the 3 hoops I would’ve got a football jersey! I was able to spend time with my best friend Brylan and his family. Brylans little brother won a giant aired up baseball bat and kept on hitting us with it. The State Fair is so much better than tulip time because at the State Fair there is a lot more

Business is a growing major and currently the most common major among college students. Being a business major at a liberal arts college is underappreciated amongst the students because they see courses as unnecessary towards their future careers. The question of “what a college education should provide” arises. Education is important but it is also important to learn how survive in the world and contribute to it. Business majors are growing meaning the requirements in a business are growing as well. It takes more than knowing how to do your job in todays society, you have to be able to stand out. The world is challenging and simply knowing the basis of business no longer cuts it because education is tied together as one. Furthermore, a liberal arts education provides the necessities needed for a successful year.

The period 1990-2003 presented a notable period which affected the Canadian dollar’s ground to the United States. This was brought about by the prolonged economic surge in America which was associated with conditions that spurred growth. The US government had also invested in equipment and machinery which was integral in enhancing productivity.
