In this article children work for a living. Parent around the world who do not make enough money send their kids to work. Kids in Kenya earn about 15 cents an hour by lacing up tennis shoes, that is enough to buy about a handful of crackers for lunch. In the text children do not go to school but work instead. Kids in Kenya are charged 350 dollars a year to attend regular schooling. The school in Kenya receives about one dollar a day. Four million kids in Kenya go to work instead of school.
