In Ray Bradbury's story “The Veldt”, he tells a story of a modernistic family living an almost entirely technology dependant lifestyle. Through the course of the story it is shown how this has negatively impacted both the adults and the children of the family. Through his writing Bradbury has provided to his reader an insight to his thoughts on the nature of children and technology. An expertly written aspect of “The Veldt” is the portrayal of the nature of children. The children are very isolated and spend much of their time interacting with their electronic nursery screen, spending little to no time interacting with actual people. Through the progression of the story we begin to see what is expected to be the naturally occurring behaviours
