Climate Change Which Side Is Right?

We've all heard about global warming as well as climate change. Climate Change is the buildup of massive amounts of man made greenhouse gases in the Earth's atmosphere. Causing the Earth's temperature to slowly rise over a long period of time.The amount of carbon dioxide in the air has increased rapidly over the years. Climate Change is a global problem and recently an issue more and more people are paying attention to.

The climate change is overall change, which has taken place in global climate pattern due to increase of carbon dioxide in many folds. Whether it is responsibility of individual or the government to control the climate change has become a moot point for many years. Proponents and opponents of both the views have their own strong arguments. Before coming to an end, I would like to light on both the views in my imminent paragraphs.

Throughout the years climate change has been a controversial issue affecting individuals worldwide; climate change has been debated by scientists including the rest of the world. Many factors can affect climate change such as biological factors and human actions. The intricate details are what go unnoticed and unmanaged, people may be greatly against this claim. However, it is underlying factors, like landfills and driving cars, that help maintain the increasing temperature of the earth thus, climate change has become a controversial topic. There have been concerns that climate change does not exist but there is reliable proof that it does even if many scientists do not agree on the existence of climate change.

Climate change is defined as a change within climate patterns that is largely due to increasing levels of carbon emissions in our atmosphere. These emissions create a blanket like layer around the earth that creates a heat reflective surface. As the sun’s rays hit earth, normally it would be bounced back into space but the earth would still retain some heat from the rays that it was hit with. The emissions blanket creates a barrier that traps more rays within the atmosphere of the earth as heat rays have a harder time going through the blanket into space. Climate change is the unusual change in the average temperature of the earth. This unusual change is primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels, oil and coal. Burning fossil fuels releases carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. These gases act like bricks in a fireplace. They radiate heat in all directions long after the fire goes out. Because of the large amounts of fossil fuels burned each year, there is too much heat radiation. For that reason, the earth’s temperature has risen and will continue to rise, which has a negative impact on ecosystems.

The argument over climate change is an old struggle between the people who look to the future, and those who care about the present. Climate change is a term used to refer to the increase in average global temperature. Many people agree that most, if not all, of climate change is influenced by man-made constructs. These constructs include: factories, cars, and power plants. Even though some people believe that climate change does not exist, that it is just fluxuations in the Earth’s climate, there is more than enough scientific evidence to show that human power plants and motor vehicles as well as burning up forests for farmland accounts for the majority of climate change.

The standard way of thinking about the truly phenomenal issue of Climate Change is represented by the idea of danger and damage caused by this change in the nature. In this research paper, I will discuss what climate change is and what causes it. I will also describe how the political and scientific communities differ on the topic. Next, I will discuss the causal chain of climate change starting with the Industrial Revolution until today. After that I will cover the differing beliefs of Democrats and Republicans, and what each party is doing in regards to climate change. Lastly, I will cover what is being done by businesses, governments, and individuals in the world to combat climate change, and provide possible solutions, including the use of renewable energies to solve this problem.

This is in effect because the reasons for climate change includes the burning of coal, oil and natural gas to fuel factories, operate home life, as well as inside school and work buildings, all of which incorporate human interaction. It refers to “long-term change” in Earth’s climate which includes warming, cooling, and other changes besides temperature. Global warming is the temperature increase assembled by adding the greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. It is a “long-term increase” in Earth’s average temperature. Amongst the several millions of people who have contributed to the pollution of the grounds of which they stand on, the change of climate has rapidly increased with each year.

Climate change is a change in regional or global climate patterns. The change in the usual weather found in a place could be a change in how much rain a place usually gets in a year. Climate change is always changing in the last 100 years the climate has gone up one degree Fahrenheit. The increased levels of carbon dioxide is produced by the use of fossil fuels. Fossil fuels is a big part of climate change. Fossil fuels are any combustible organic material. Some examples of fossil fuels are coal, petroleum, natural gas, oil shales, bitumens, tar sands, and heavy oils. People all around the world depend on these fuels to heat our homes, run our vehicles, power industry and manufacturing, and provide everyone with electricity. The burning of some fossil fuels by humans is one of the biggest source of outflow of carbon dioxide, which is a part of global warming. Global warming is an increase in the earth's average temperature that causes similar changes in climate and that may result from the greenhouse effect. Human activity is one of the reasons Earth has global warming. According to the National Climate Assessment, human influences are the number one cause of global warming, especially the carbon pollution we cause by burning fossil fuels and the pollution. Also the oceans are rising which is causing floods. Average temperatures in the Arctic are rising twice as fast as other places on Earth, and the world's ice caps are melting fast. Even though the rise in the Earth's surface temperature may be slight it can still have a wide range of effects on ecosystems, rising sea levels, severe weather events, and droughts. A staggering amount of scientist believe that climate change is caused mainly due to the human use of fossil fuels. When fossil fuels are used, carbon dioxide is released along with other greenhouse gases into the air. Those gases trap the heat within the atmosphere. Some examples of ways humans use fossil fuels are oil, coal, and natural gas. Humans depend on theses fossil fuels to function everyday life. For example we use these fuels to heat our homes, run our vehicles, and are used in the power industry to produce electricity.

The majority of scientific consensus is that the main reason for climate change is the use of fossil fuels which do not remove carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the air. These gases increase the temperature in the atmosphere, which has various effects on ecosystems, including sea level elevation, natural disasters and droughts which strengthen the possibility of wildfire in nature. All of us need to know the truth about global warming and climate change.
