Comparison Between 'Eleven And The Jacket'

Two stories…..One winner There can only be one winner when it comes to the “Battle of the Books”, but how will we have a winner with two great stories that tell a heartfelt yet melancholy tale of two kids. How will we choose? With data analysis of the characters, setting, plot and climax we can find which story is better. What do these categories mean? This is a question that you might ask often so, let's get to it! Hmm……..what do we think when we hear the word character? Well, we think, “What does this person say?” , “How do they think?” and “How do his or her actions reflect on their behavior or maybe even their life?” These are all excellent and very deep questions to ask yourself when you are trying to define a character’s attitude and behavior. We also know that if you gather enough of this type of data, you will in no time know what type of person this character is. Now, let's get to the characters in the two stories. Rachel from “Eleven” as we know is very shy, timid very easy to dispirit, while Gary from “The Jacket” is outgoing and very for the next miscellaneous fight. Well that isn't all the setting can impact the tone, mood and actually the whole story can be impacted by the setting. The setting is a VERY key element in a story because without it, you will not have a story at all! One very similar thing is the era, it is actually very similar because you can tell it took place in the twentieth century. Assuming that Sandra Cisneros is talking about a scenario that happened when she was a kid and know that Gary Soto is talking about a scenario that happened when he was a kid, those events would have had to happen in the twentieth century!
