“Competitive sports are good for young children, you can develop many life skills and can help children maintain a healthy lifestyle”, that is what was said by parents and children who did have a good experience in competitive sports, but what about those who have not? An activity that is said to have so many benefits is ruining children's experiences in physical activities, because of a stress and pressure induced life due to busy schedules and intense training hours, and it is getting kids into terrible injuries and many are not even able to participate in these activities because of the high cost of lessons, equipment and traveling for competitions can add up quickly.Although there are many other signs that competitive sports are not the best thing for kids, these are some of the topics I have chosen to help show you just that.
