Since you are reading an article on how to reinvent yourself, I 'm going to assume that there are a few traits that you also need to exhibit. This is because, for the most part, we don 't reinvent ourselves into someone worse than who we are. We want to reinvent ourselves and to someone who is better, more capable, stronger, and more true to themselves, and there are some very common traits of great people.
Therefore, some traits you need to really focus on and do more are:
- Courage: In order to become a different version of yourself. You have to be courageous. You can 't let fear hold you back from doing what you need to do or acting how you need to act. You can 't let other people make you feel bad for wanting to reinvent yourself (and I guarantee you that some people will try!) Hold your head up high and remind yourself of how brave you are as often as possible.
- Patience: Don 't get upset with yourself if you don 't fully feel like you are becoming you want to be. Reinventing yourself doesn 't happen overnight. It takes time to get comfortable in a new routine and in a new environment, and even if you are acting as if you are a great dancer, for example, you may not have the skill developed yet to actually be a great dancer. If you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror, then you may be quick to tell yourself that things are not working out and revert back to your old self. But it 's important to have patience and remember that you can reinvent yourself, and
All those quotes that tell you to be yourself won’t be true because your parents decided to change you. As the generations continue with the “designer” babies, people will start to look more alike. There will not be as many special characteristics about you and only you. Our parents will choose if they want us to stand out in the crowd or be one with it.
Mandy Hale says, “Just be yourself. Let people see the real, imperfect, flawed, quirky, weird, beautiful, magical person that you are.” This quote means you always need to be you, and stay true to yourself. You always need to be yourself whether people do not like it or get mad. Hale’s statement is true because you always need to stay the weird, magical person you are.
Their is a choice in life to be oneself or to follow in the footsteps of someone who has already succeeded. I believe that it is best to travel on your own paths than walk on one that is worn out because you will find your own identity and you're your own differentiator.
As a kid who I thought I was, was what other people wanted me to believe. Like spider man the red and blue guy who is an expert on climbing and shooting stuff out of his hands. I wanted to be just like him when I grew up, until
Don’t you ever feel the urge to run away? Tired of all the problems you have to face? Tired of disappointing everyone because you feel like you aren’t living up to their expectations? Tired of being whom you are as a person? So tired that you simply don’t just want to run away, but also disappear? In some point in our lives, we go through this and hit rock bottom. We feel as if our family and friends will be better off without us and they perhaps wouldn’t even miss you. But let me ask you this if you don’t like something about yourself then why not change? One gloomy day I was on my newsfeed on Instagram, giggling at some memes to drooling on some photos of Jensen Ackles, until something caught my attention. I clicked on the photo and the first thing I saw was blood. I saw a person lying down while another person emerges as if ripping themselves from their own self. In that moment, I saw what would
You will be stuck in that position because that is how people perceive you to be and changing your personality might let them down or make them disappointed. An example of this happening was when I was younger I was a active kid and my parents would always get frustrated with me so I changed who i was and tried to become calmer and listen more but then I felt uncomfortable changing I was always doing things that I thought was fun but I stopped to become someone different and knew my parents were happy with the change but I wasn’t. But if you let the sherrade keep going you forget who you really are and miss out on things that your old self would be perfect for. Imagine you were a artist and someone told you it was a waste of time and you change yourself you slowly lose those skills and when something comes along it’ll will be to late for you to change. Many people say we have to conform to society's “rules” that it will be safer to join in on becoming similar because no one will stray away and do something dangerous or do something idiotic. But we need this messing up is part of being human if everyone was the same there will never be any new innovations in science or technology we need different minds who are amazing at helping us as people become better but to conform we will never adapt to new things
into a very caring but serious person. As they say that one personal identity develops more than
There are those who know from birth exactly who they are--chef, lawyer, doctor, gymnast-- and there are those who take a little longer to figure it out. Until very recently, who I was or who I wanted to be was as unclear as it could get. You could say I was one of those cliché teenagers who was longing to "find themselves"; hoping that one day the fog would lift, and my eyes would be opened.
Everyone in life has to choose whether they follow someone's footsteps or go their own way. Being yourself is important because you never know if you’ll make history or set an example for others.
Ralph Waldo Emerson once stated. ‘To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment. This quote means that you should be yourself. Emerson’s statement is false because to be someone you're not is good.
“Act the way you'd like to be and soon you'll be the way you'd like to act.” ―Bob Dylan
“Courage is an inner resolution to go forward despite obstacles,” as once stated by the great civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. Whether it be standing up for what you believe in or just simply giving a speech in front of a class, courage is a significant trait that has benefitted mankind in many ways. In relevance to the novel To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, many characters show courage such as Atticus Finch, Mrs. Dubose, and Boo Radley by either standing up for morals and beliefs of what is correct even if society proves them wrong, battling a drug addiction, or coming out of a certain comfort zone in order to do the right thing. By looking at Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird, one can see that the theme courage is depicted through certain characters in the novel because she shows that the real idea of courage is to work through an obstacle in life, knowing that the odds are against you.
Socrates says “the unexamined life is a life not worth living”. Before one can change and improve as a person they must be aware of their faults as well as their strengths. In this manner the improvement process allows for self-reflection and exploration of one’s own character. This means understanding not only the personality flaws and nuances of your character, but why those flaws and nuances exist in the first place; to uproot a problem you must know where the root exists, and to prevent it from growing further, you must understand what is feeding the root.
It is recommended to immediately stop wanting to be like others. Off course, you get inspired by people but that means, you look up to them and take some of their aspects and put them into yourself. But never forget that in reality you have a unique personality. You are looking up to them for the positive guide while being true to yourself.
Changing your style can be difficult. The fear of the unknown is often stifling and the initial feeling of something new can feel uncomfortable. But we all need to step outside of our comfort zone at times in order to discover something new – and finding out who we really are as human beings.
