Two theories which can be seen in this scenario are the critical race theory, predominantly the white privilege aspect, and the acculturation. The critical race theory provides a basis for understanding and responding to power dynamics which cause and maintain racial inequality in society (Burke, 2017, lecture 4). White privilege is the key feature of critical race theory which is shown throughout scenario C. When people migrate from their birth country they can lose their sense of identity, and are forced to form another one in their new country. People are forced to adapt to a new way of living with a foreign culture, which is not always an easy process. Like oppression, acculturation is a two-part
