Even though many American parents view football just as a dangerous sport, I however disagree because with the recent understanding of brain trauma and advancement of equipment it has made football the safest it has ever been, still bringing scholarships to young athletes and giving them the opportunity to get a degree in college. I truly believe football molds young kids into hardworking adults, while allowing others the opportunity to make something of themselves. Football has been a part of my whole life, without it I would not be where I am at today. I know from personal experience the dangers of the sport. I have had multiple injuries through my high school experience. Some were serious and required surgery, while other ones not so severe. The experience outweighs the dangers that occur in football. It taught me to keep fighting and helped me learn to be blessed to have such supportive parents. I will never regret playing football. “One of the greatest experiences football brings young athletes is the feeling of being apart a “family”. Having each other’s back is the main concept the sport teaches. No matter what the outcome may be, you fight till the bitter end with your brother on that field. The games friendships, and memories are things cherished forever. It is like a job when it comes to football. “This game asks young men to push them further than they ever thought they could go”.
