This article gave a picture of how the Declaration of Independence created a worldwide impact and also gave backstory to Jefferson and what others thought of him. The article discussed the intentions of the Declaration and what it meant for the United States and England, the main idea was that the Declaration showed the world that America intended to join the world stage. This article will be helpful when working on the critical analysis part of this essay, it will also help when I am working on the public opinions of Jefferson. It gives an in depth look at the global impacts of the Declaration of Independence and what it meant for the new nation.

This source will give me helpful information when I am writing the part of my essay that looks at what others have thought of Thomas Jefferson over the years. This source summarizes what history has said about Jefferson and what impacts he has had on the forming of America.

I cited this book because it has a copy of the Declaration in it and this will be something I need for the critical analysis part of this essay. This source doesn’t give any other research information as it is just a copy of the Declaration.
