His desire to secure his throne, in this case, the main chef, made him disoriented and was breaking plates, and burning food, something he wouldn't do before. The loving aura changed and it was just filled with chaos, in which the environment was not a place where his workers wanted to be. The change of scenery from the kitchen to an ominous night was effective in such that viewers could see that it meant something bad was about to happened. Lastly, at the end of the film, the kitchen in a highly renowned restaurant was not as luminous as before. The lights were turned off by Joe, and this is where we could see that he was beginning to shut himself down.

Macbeth is the main character in this Play, he is at the beginning a guy who seems emotionless and cold. He wants to be king and to have the ultimate power, he wants his wife to be happy and proud of him.To achieve all his goals he tries everything to become a friend of the king, duncan, and is really nice to him even thought he just has the ultimate power in his mind. After a while Macbeth is getting tired of always being nice and faking everything so his wife is trying to persuade him to keep doing everything to be king. Macbeth is getting help from three witches who set them all the thoughts about being king in his mind, with his wife many people want to convince him to kill duncan, so Macbeth is under a lot of pressure. At the end of the play when macbeth killed duncan and reached his goal to be king,he is really confident and full of himself what makes him think he can get anything and win everything, but when he fights against Mcduff his head got cut off and he dies.

The motivations of Duncan, Macbeth, and Malcolm are all different. Macbeth is motivated by greed, power, ambition, and his wife. Lady Macbeth questions Macbeth’s manhood and calls him a coward. In contrast, Malcolm and Duncan want what is right for the people and for Scotland. They want everything to be just and they are noble men. For example, “Macduff, this noble passion, / Child of integrity, hath from my soul / Wiped the black scruples, reconciled my thoughts / To thy good truth and honor” (Shakespeare IV.iii.116-119). This proves that Malcolm cares about loyalty among his people. Malcolm's motivations for Scotland are honorable. He wants to restore peace and trust in Scotland. Also, Malcolm wants to be a good leader and restore the heir to its rightful owner. This shows that Macbeth, Duncan, and Malcolm all have different motivations.

When Macbeth is slain, Malcolm sees it as a fresh start to the country. All the people who had to flee may now return. He intends to reward everyone who stood by him. "We shall not spend a large expense of time before we reckon with your several loves." Throughout the play Malcolm has shown himself to be loyal and fair and shows the qualities of a good king.

When comparing the book Macbeth by Shakespeare, and the movie Macbeth directed by Justin Kurzel a few differences occur. One difference being the order in which the witches presented in the novel and movie. In the book, the witches are presented in the first act and first scene, whereas the witches in the movie are shown after Macbeth’s fight scene. Also in this scene, the witches say the “Fair is foul and foul is fair” chant separately, whereas in the book the witches say this chant in unison at the end of the scene. The reasons behind these changes vary, from making more logical sense to other to how “creepy” the director could lay the movie out. Although in the book version of Macbeth the chant the witches say in unison makes more sense because of its purpose of foreshadowing for what later happens in Macbeth, the director uses this scene to incorporate a spooky feeling towards the beginning of the movie, primarily using their tones and physical appearance to portray the book, rather than using the meaning of the words to portray the book.
