They are ruling over people and they have complete power, but they are not happy. MacBeth is extremely stressed that someone may find out their secret, and Lady is paranoid that MacBeth may tell someone or even worse continue killing. The killing to get into royalty was only supposed to be a onetime thing, that ended up being several. Lady has impressed that since macBeth did kill the King that any problems after that he would need to fight because he was the “New King” so Lady MacBeth basically just decided she wanted royalty and she wanted to be queen so bad that she would convince MacBeth to kill King Duncan and if it all goes south she would just opt out without a scratch on her and without any metaphorical dirt on her since MacBeth did all the killings, but that wasn't the case. As Lady Macbeth receives the message from her husband claiming that he has earned the title of Thane of Cawdor she is very proud and grateful to have such a successful husband. “Glamis thou art… yet I do fear thy nature; it is too full o’ th’ milk of human kindness… thou wouldest be great, art not without ambition, but without the illness should attend it. What thou wouldest highly…” Although she is proud of him there is an undertone of doubt and belief that he could do more. She loves him undoubtedly and wants the best for him. When she asks of him to fulfill the strangest of deeds he contemplates “if we should fail?” They are a team, everything they plot they do together. They are honest and wholesome with each other. As they successfully gain the title of king and queen of Scotland, their relationship starts to hinder. They fight more frequently, almost growing out of the honeymoon state of marriage and into a business like attire. As the power and murders incline, all honesty is shot. Macbeth no longer tells Lady Macbeth of the innocent blood on his hands. This environment holds no hope for a relationship to last. The guilt and dishonesty between them separates them from even having a casual chat. They have become so consumed with what they have done that they have no room to remember each other. As Lady Macbeth kills herself, Macbeth just simply says, “She should have died hereafter. There would have been a time for such a word.” He looks at her dislodged
The witches manipulate Macbeth into becoming a murdering, power-hungry evil being, by telling him, “someday you’ll be king.” “I'll drain him dry as hay. Sleep shall neither night nor day Hang upon his penthouse lid. He shall live a man forbid. Weary sev'n nights, nine times nine, Shall he dwindle, peak, and pine.” (I,i) The witches use the two other prophecies to get in the mind of Macbeth. They say that Macbeth will be Thane of Cawdor, and Banquo will be the father of future generations of kings. Though his bark cannot be lost, Yet it shall be tempest-tossed.They give Macbeth a false sense of security with the visions they perceive. These influential women are the ones that instill the idea of murdering the king. Macbeth lets greed get the best of him. The witches sway Macbeth into killing Duncan for the throne. “Fair is foul, and foul is fair.” (I,i) The Witches intend to turn Macbeth from his good ways, into something evil. As the only character that understands their cruelty, the witches want Macbeth dead. The witches give Macbeth the temptation to kill the king by telling him their prophecies. In the end,

If’t be so, for Banquo’s issue have I filed my mind; For them the gracious Duncan I have murder’d; ...To make them kings, the seed of Banquo kings! (Act III. sc.I) At this point Macbeth’s passion becomes more and more extreme to the point where no one stands in his way. His greed, violence, and hunger for power drastically declines his

He couldn’t wait to be king any longer so he started having these thoughts to kill the king. While he was so eager for the deed, he couldn’t get himself to do it. And that’s where lady Macbeth comes in.

Many of people have heard the tragedy of Macbeth by William Shakespeare. The story revolves on a sequence of misfortunate events that take place when Macbeth makes immoral decisions to be king. In the play, Shakespeare shows how power can cause corruption in a human’s brain. Macbeth himself was not a very confident person, though he had a kind soul to begin with, he was easily influenced and gullible. Through the prophecies of the evil beings, an insignificant seed was planted in Macbeth. That spark of wealth and fortune caused the tyrant within him to awake. Which eventually lead to his fatal death. His ambition lead him to murder, go insane and become very superstitious.
At first, their downfall begins with the temptation of power, and it consumes their thoughts and blinds their reasoning to think logically. This first shows when Ross and Angus announce Macbeth as the new Thane of Cawdor. The thoughts about the predictions being unbelievable then, become prophecies waiting to happen. As seen when Macbeth whispers to himself, “Glamis, and thane of Cawdor:/The greatest is behind…” (I.iii.116). As a result, his thoughts stray from his loyalty to King Duncan, to taking Duncan’s place. Then, when Lady Macbeth reads the letter from Macbeth, making her husband take the throne became her goal. As when Lady Macbeth says, “…All that impeds thee from the golden round, / which fate and metaphysical aid doth seem/ to have
Lady Macbeth is often considered to be the main villain of the Shakespeare's play “Macbeth” as she is the one who plans the king Duncan's murder and persuades her husband to commit the crime. However, it does not seem to be true considering the events of the play as she is not seen as a brave or strong character. On the contrary, Lady Macbeth is an overconfident and cowardly character who cannot bear the consequences of her own actions and cannot keep the situation under control. She actions are ignoble, and the overestimation of her powers lead to the tragic end.
In William Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Macbeth, Macbeth, a once honored and valiant Thane, abandons all virtue after three meddling witches prophesize his ascent to the Scottish throne. Consumed by his ambition and encouraged by his malevolent wife, Macbeth sets forth on a downward spiral of murderous treason and tyranny that subsequently leads to his own demise. This Shakespearean tragedy explores betrayal, manipulation and the blood lust that adjoins a relentless climb for power. Hovering behind the narrative are various supernatural forces and visions that seem to be present during each terrible act. Subsequently, a question prevails whether Macbeth’s downfall is result of his own flaw or if these forces possess a vice-like hold over
It has become clear at this point, that Lady Macbeth cannot bear to live with herself, knowing of all the affliction and devastation that she and her husband had caused. After Macbeth and Banquo receive prophecies, the foil characters start to diverge as Banquo’s takes the moral path of goodness while Macbeth takes the immoral path towards his ultimate decline. Banquo and Macbeth have the opportunity to pursue the same path, but because of his unchecked ambition, Macbeth deviates from Banquo's path of good morals. Immediately after the witches tell their prophecies, Banquo’s mindset is wary and rational. He warns Macbeth that, “oftentimes, to win us to our harm, / the instruments of darkness tell us truths...” (1.3.125-126). Banquo is not obsessed with the prophecies and the idea that one day his ancestors will be kings. On the other hand, Macbeth speculates, “Two truths are told, / as happy prologues to the swelling act / of the imperial theme.” (1.3.130-132) Because two of the three prophecies have come true, Macbeth is blinded by his ambition and seems to fantasize about the idea of being king. These contrasting reactions show that Macbeth takes a
