It’s the middle of the night in Las Vegas, inside a quiet peaceful three-bedroom home that Vanessa shares with her girlfriend Elena, Elena’s brother De’Aza, and her ex-boyfriend Eddie Diaz. Vanessa is in the bathroom taking a nice warm steamy shower trying to wash away the hurt and confusion that’s all covered up inside of her light skinned curvy naked body. She is hurt due to the fact that she and Eddie are no longer together anymore as a result of his barbaric gambling problem that caused them both to lose everything that they worked so hard for. When he ran out of money, he had taken some of Vanessa’s expensive jewelry to gamble it to see if he can come up victorious and win back all of the money that he had lost but still ended up losing …show more content…
The intruder very carefully walks inside with the door halfway open with just enough room for him to squeeze his two hundred and forty-pound figure through. As he discreetly walks closer towards Eddie his adrenaline starts kicking in overdrive. The intruder pauses as hears Eddie breathing heavily in his sleep. Without wasting another moment with his gun pointed down at him he reaches over Eddie and grabs a pillow from off of the bed that lays on the side of his head careful not to wake him. Now is the moment of no return. Steadily with precision he holds it up over his face with his left hand and points the silencer into the pillow with his right. With no hesitation he pulls the trigger twice sending two shots through the pillow right into Eddie’s skull splattering brains all over the linen killing him …show more content…
Just as fast as he entered the intruder turns around and begins to exit out of the room. The sound of running water from the shower has shut off, so quickly he shuts Eddie’s bedroom door and without making a single sound he rushes past the front of the bathroom door. Just as he heads for the stairs, Vanessa comes strutting out of the bathroom flaunting her shoulder length curly black hair and wearing a soft comfy white robe. He sees her coming and in a split second he ducks around the corner just as she walks through the dark hall following her own shadow heading to the bedroom. She almost sees him but missed him only by just tenths of a second. The unknown man is standing against the stairway wall with his gun pointed in the pathway of the stairs hoping that Vanessa doesn’t come towards him. He does not want to shoot her but if he has too… Thankfully, instead of coming towards the stairs she turns the corner and goes straight into the room where Elena is. After ensuring that Vanessa closes their bedroom door, the intruder walks the rest of the way down the stairs and leaves straight out the front door the same way in which he
Once everyone left Eddie started approaching a lady that was going into her car. He just went for it. He tried to yank the purse out of her hand. He pushed her down just so that he could get the purse. He began to run toward the mall.
Every life has a meaning, some more prominent than others; while alive, everyone has impacted someone, even if they don’t know who or how. Eddie learned about his effect on The Blue Man and took responsibility for his death. In my opinion, the death was not entirely Eddie’s fault and was an accidental series of events that led to a tragedy. If anything, The Blue Man’s death was because of a father who mistreated his son. He was embarrassed by his son because he soiled his pants in the sweatshop, therefore, he shut him out of his life completely, which was the main reason for Joseph’s anxiety. The distress was the reason Joseph took Silver Nitrate, which seemed to be safe at the time, but caused his skin to turn blue. The poison
The world is on fire. I crouch in the small interior of a vessel. Watching in disbelief as everything burns. I shall tell you what I know of how this tragedy came to be.
First thing I observed from the scene was that there is a flowered suitcase by the door. It was sitting by the door packed and ready to be moved to someplace else. As a rule, if there is flowers on a suitcase, it has to be a girls or a woman's suitcase because a guy wouldn’t be carrying around a flower suitcase. This shows the the husband got angry with Vanessa’s choice of leaving and argued with her to prevent her from trying to go, so he got too mad and ended up murdering her.
Vanessa enlarged her chocolate brown eyes, in terror. Sweat poured down her skin, as she gasped. Arturo grinned,” Ah, you look so much taller! Have you done your hair?” He said. Vanessa deeply growled,” I’m not dealing with this crap!” Arturo’s bright grin left his face, as Vanessa bolted out of her chair, heading for the door,” H-Hey!” He called, chasing after her,” Don’t follow me!” Vanessa demanded. Arturo gripped his daughter’s arm, pulling her away from the door,” No! I’m not letting you run away from me, again!” He barked,” Let go of me, you dog!” Vanessa shouted,” Not until you sit down and finally talk to me!” Arturo refused,” Argh!” Vanessa grunted, as she was pushed back into her chair. Arturo sat back in his chair,” I know, you
When they were at the hospital, the doctor requested help from multiple surgeons to remove the bullet. “Well, at least the bullet missed the brain stem, but back of his head is in shambles.” the doctor noted, taking care to not move the patient too much. One of the surgeons started to take an x-ray, while the others tried to remove the bullet.
This book begins at the time of Eddie’s death. He died trying to save a little girl from an amusement park accident. He realizes that he has a lot of unresolved issues in his life, but that will all change once he meets his five people. When he dies, he meets his first person. The first person is one who worked as a circus freak at the park. He tells Eddie about how he died because of him. He taught Eddie that everyone is connected even if they don’t know the person. Eddie meets the second person, who was a captain in WWII, who shot him in the leg to save him from burning in a fire, but gave him a limp for the rest of his life. He teaches Eddie that sacrifice is important to living a good life. Eddie then meets his abusive father, the third
Opening the excerpt with a sudden shift from a dispassionate tone to vivid imagery, Laurence’s use of contrast between Vanessa’s detached reality to her animated memories reveals her mental isolation. The further attempt to “take [her] mind off” (2) of her father’s death instead of seeking closure affirms Vanessa's mental immaturity. Unable to face reality, Vanessa instead chooses to escape under a mask of
We're all going to die. Is this really where I want to be? Stacking printer paper in an office supply store? Death is taking another lick of my lollypop, and god knows how many licks it takes before he gets frustrated and just bites into it.
Before Patricia’s death, she delivered a hard road in front of her. Smoking cannabis laced with PCP, this screwed up her judgment to the degree where she believed the United States was putting poison in liquor to kill us all. I made a visit to mother and father home one day, I had heard Patricia was saying strange comments and hallucinating. I talked to Patricia and told her what she did was smoke PCP, that’s why she is stumbling on these things, and they are not happening, can she understand that? She continued on explaining the news stories, and we are being poisoned. Patricia was screwed by using that drug. I went into the kitchen and told mother, “Patricia needs help.”

As he got his last shot off, he heard another shot from his left and felt a sharp pain in his forearm, he crawled back to his cover before his enemy could confirm him. He quickly ripped his sleeve off and examined the wound. He patched himself with some field bandage and dressing which stung tremendously. He planned out that he had to kill the enemy to escape and he only had a pistol revolver to do it
Captain took Eddie’s ability to walk, Eddie went crazy thinking that someone was burning in the house and he was going to get himself killed. The Captain made a choice to shoot Eddie’s leg so that he could live but Eddie took the sacrifice that wrong way. He thought that the
He was dead. More precisely, he was clinically dead. My hands tremble as I lifted my fingers off his carotid pulse. As a NSF who enlisted into SCDF, I've gotten EMT as my vocation. This would be similar to the community service I have done before, but boy was I mistaken. In reality, it is nothing less than a warfare zone.
Lexi wakes with her sister slashing water into her face,"What was that for?" She asks. "You were having a nightmare, you were shaking and scream NO, NO stop. Are you all right?" Lexi's sister asked. "Yes, just a little shook. I dreamed Logan got shot and it was Samantha's fault." "Well, Logan's fine. Come on you need to get up and start getting ready for your big day," Lexi's sister says as she leaves the room. Lexi sleepily gets out of bed and takes a shower. The cool water down on her face wakes her up a little. When she gets out, all her family and friends our out in her room set up to get her ready. She sits down in the makeup chair and is immediately pampered. About 10 minutes later she has a full face of makeup on and then sits in the
