On January 19th, 1809, American writer, Edgar Allan Poe was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Poe is a critic and editor who known for his works of horror and mystery. His short stories and poems caught the attention of people from all around the world. Poe was nicknamed “The Father of the Detective Story;” however, his life itself was a mystery. Both of Edgar Allan Poe’s parents were actors, which caused him not to be close to them. His father left the family when Poe was at his early stages in his life, and his mother died when Poe was only three. After his mother’s death, Poe was separated from his siblings and moved in with a tobacco merchant named John Allan, and his wife Frances Allan.

My decision to conclude that Edgar Allan Poe died from cooping was the right one because I will rationalize various theories and explanations of his death that will prove my decision is the correct one. Where he was found, the clothes he was wearing and how he disappeared right before his death will demonstrate why cooping is the correct decision.
