Foster care/Stay with brothers Order in the court,It seems like we have some decisions to make If ponyboy should stay with his brothers or in foster care. I have decided that ponyboy should stay with his brothers he has no parents his brothers are taking care of him.Ponyboy should stay with his brothers they do things they need to do together their want to stay together they parents would be disappointed if they were alive and they were separated from each other although they were killed in a car crash. For instance when one of them is in danger they come and help each other. They will hurt anyone who is bullying ponyboy.then again if their parents was alive they will be impressed with what they are doing for ponyboy.as much as they loved
At the beginning they was playing together, but after that one of them pushed another one too hard and make that friend got hurt. The one who were pushed got angry and revenged the one who pushed him. Both of them were fighting and did not stop. Fortunately, the teacher came in and separated both of them. She told them to calm down first and started telling her what happened. Finally, both of them knew that they did the stupid mistake and they apologized each other. So, for now I think juveniles cannot control their emotions sometimes. But it does not mean they will not know what they have done before, they just need time to think and understand like my friends. If we give time for them, they will be better.
For example, since Johnny killed Bob, and Johnny is part of the Greasers, the Socs were even meaner to them. Both of the groups were involved in a rumble. They weren’t just mad at one person but one whole group. Also, during this rumble Darry volunteered to take the first hit, and Paul went up against him. The two were actually on the same football team in high school and were buddies. However, now that they were part of this group, they had to fight one another. Despite their times before and how they actually got along at one point, they still fought. Considering, Cherry was a Soc and she cared about her reputation and what her parents thought of her, she wasn’t able to hang out with Ponyboy. After while hanging out, Cherry’s boyfriends came to pick them up. She told them if she doesn’t talk to him in the halls during school, it’s not personal , it’s just because of the different
Loyalty and the importance of friendships are one of the most important elements in Ponyboy’s life.
The main theme of 'The Outsiders' is that friends are your chosen family. In other words, the people in your inner circle along with your family, are the friends you choose to have there. This is present with many characters in the book, in fact, the only three 'Greasers' that did not seem to have their friends closer than their family were Ponyboy, Sodapop, and Darry. However, these three boys had many people in their lives who loved their friends more than their family, such as Johnny, who's dad beat him, and mom neglected him, and Dally who had no relation with his parents, then there is Darry, who loves his friends like family, and he is one of the only ones that knows what true family love feels like.
Pony boy should stay with his family so he could be happier, and not leave his family. It would not be the same for any of them. I really think that pony boy should leave because he did not get into that much trouble, and really he was the good kid out of them all. There is a reason why he should go for foster care because. They do not have a stabled home, his brothers get into trouble, and I think that is a bad influence for him.
pony boy is to go to foster care right away and never to have contact with his brothers ever again. how ever if they some how manage to prove to me they can straight them selves out in the next two years pony will have special permission to go and see his brothers when ever he want but has to be back at his foster house within twenty four hours or the brothers will be sent to
Ponyboy has no parents and Darry is the eldest brother, therefore, Darry must be responsible for Ponyboy and make sure he is safe. Ponyboy doesn’t always understand the way Darry protect him. One night Jonny and Ponyboy went out and didn’t
In The Outsiders, Ponyboy and all the other Greasers had to assist each other in order not to get pushed around by the Socs. An example of loyalty involves Ponyboy, Sodapop, and Darry, “Since Mom and Dad were killed in an auto wreck, the three of us get to stay together only as long as we behave. So Soda and I stay out of trouble as much as we can” (Hinton, 3). This quote shows how the Curtis boys had to be more trustworthy and dependable to each other since their parents died or if not, they would have to be separated. Another loyalty quote I found says, “You take up
In The Outsiders, one of Ponyboys conflicts is misunderstanding. Fourteen year old Ponyboy does not know how he feels nor understand his brother Darry. He feels like Darry has very little love for him. Darry is always getting at Ponyboy about being his best because their parents passed away and he has to take responsibility of him. Ponyboy feels like Darry is just being mean to him though
One reason Ponyboy should not be living with his brothers is that he was running away from the police, charged with murder. Ponyboy was with a friend in the park when he gets jumped by Socs, the group of rich kids. When he is getting drowned in a fountain his friend kills the Soc. He then goes on the run where he has to hide in an abandoned church for a long time. Children should not be running away from the police. If he had a responsible parent, was with adults that looked after him and didn't let him get into trouble, it wouldn't have happened.
them grow up become strong and independent. After awhile the years pass the bond will get stronger because the
Clank! Clank! "Order in the court! This session is now in order! We are gathered here for the court to decide if the defendant Ponyboy Curtis should be put into foster care." Have you ever thought that a character in a book should be put into foster care for the way that things are done to them, or for the way their family acts towards them? Plenty of people all around the globe do for what I believe they should. I believe that Ponyboy Curtis from the book The Outsiders should be put into foster care because he will be in a stable home, will have a better life, and he will have to stop fighting which is not good for you.
A court battle is erupting over the fate of a 3-year old named Braelynn. Her adopted family claims that she is theirs since they legal adopted her when her biological mother gave away all here parental rights. However, the father was incarcerated at this time and did not have a say in the ordeal. But now that he is out, he wants his daughter back since his parental rights should have never been terminated due to his incarceration. The Dalsings had adopted her from three weeks old and Braelynn has never met her biological dad. Yet a judge agreed with the biological father’s argument and vacated the adoption. Braelynn is still living with the couple but have requested a re-hearing at the state court of appeals.
According to www.childrensactionnetwork.org/resources.html, 23% of children ages 11-15 get adopted out of the foster care. That means he has a 77% of not being adopted so his chances are in his favor. Ponyboy not only Has good chances of not being adopted, but he might not have to even be put in the system. That 77% chance of not being adopted means he has a 77% of going home to Darry, Sodapop, and the rest of the gang. Also Ponyboy’s heroism with the church fire, most of the charges will probably be dropped from the murder case. We of course don't know whether or not they will but being the amount of kids they saved the most likely they
To begin their article, the authors first explain their topic and how they did their research. They defined bullying as something that has many definitions. However, they did identify two main aspects of bullying: it happens more than once and is one person acting negatively towards another. With this in mind, they then turned their lens toward bullying with in families. They began by looking at two personal stories about bullying with in families.
