Some actions can be more powerful than words. For instance, some actions show more promise than words. In the show The Originals Season 2 Episode 22 Niklaus told his brother Elijah that if he crossed him again he promised him he would dagger him. although Elijah did not believe the words of his brother Niklaus he was soon proven wrong. Throughout the whole Niklaus did dagger Elijah and told him " Never doubt my actions and promises that they mean more than my own words brother." Next, courage may be the reason some actions seem possibly more promising than words. for instance it takes a lot of gut to make a few promises or say a few simply words and actually commit to the actions behind them. Actions are more powerful than words because when you act on something you are doing something instead of speaking. Actions are powerful because they can injure or damage someone or something. Speaking many words may not do as much damage as acting upon an object. Actions are making physical contact and words are sayings out of a person’s mouth. Actions can be taken upon somebody and they do more affect than speaking. Actions are more powerful because it’s better to see it than hear it. Everybody would like to see someone do something tremendous right in front of them. It would be better to see it than to hear it or say it. In addition, people would like to see

Bravery allows people to challenge new things, or risky things. For example when John Proctor decided to go to the court to save Elizabeth, it required a lot of bravery. He tells Elizabeth “I will fall like a ocean on that court! Fear nothing, Elizabeth.”
We all have opportunities to display courage in our life, but if we actually do is our decision. Courage is being able to do what is right even if it can be hard. In the book Speak by Laurie Halle Anderson I found three different examples of courage. In this book Melinda Sordino, David Petrakis and Melinda, again all show courage.
Courage or the act of being courageous is something that can depict if a person is being weak. This act ties into the classic tale when identifying the strength it took Sundiata to walk. Sundiata was at an age where other young boys were gathering objects for their mothers and he simply could not, due to the fact that he was unable to walk. However, “In a great effort he straightened up and was on his feet at one go, but the great bar of iron was twisted and had taken the form of a bow.” (Page 21) A boy who once couldn't walk was now walking. He who once had to depend on his mother can now be the one his mother depends on. Thus, “ When Sogolon saw her son standing she stood dumb for a moment, then suddenly she sang these words of thanks to god who had given her son the use of his legs”. (Page 21) Sogolon was so discouraged to the point where the sight of her son’s slow development became an embarrassment. She soon became joyful of the courage

For any specific act to be considered truly courageous it must be reasonably thought about and determined that the goal is well worth the risk or danger (“Courage”). Courage so often can be put with words such as heroic, and bravery although with courage there can be a fine line between courageous acts and plain foolishness. All this can make people believe that courage only applies to physical actions. There are two kinds of courage moral and physical in many cases they are both displayed in a single courageous act; however, bravery must come before all else, because they are associated with reaching a task of importance regardless of risk.
No one would complete goals that feared them, no one would have confidence in their actions, and no one would stand up for themselves. As courage is of utmost importance to people as it is to the world, Eleanor Roosevelt once quoted: “You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face...You must do the thing you think you cannot do.” Looking through this quote, I can connect it to my own life, the arts, and the world around me. Ultimately, it is clear to say that courage is one of the most important thoughts in the human
ENG3U (Macbeth Essay) As the old saying goes:"Ambition is the path to success.'' If one's desire is greater than its fear of failure, and he has the courage to pursue his dream, then he will succeed. Our childish hearts could never fathom such words like courage. It has meant so little to our innocent ears. Courage could never entertain our childish whims. It’s not until we reach full maturity, when a word like courage takes hold of our character. Our entire being and definition of courage is then molded into something more meaningful. It becomes more than the monsters under our bed or the tower steel slide you’re afraid of. Courage becomes so much more once you experience it.
