The Webster’s dictionary defines health as the condition of being sound in body, mind, or spirit; especially: freedom from physical disease or pain or the general condition of the body (Health Definition, n.d.). According to the world health organization the definition of health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. (Health.n.d.). Both definitions could be seen as a valid and all-encompassing definition of health, however it can be seen as flawed due to the fact it does not take all aspects of health and the whole person into consideration .
