Extended Definition of Success A large portion of one’s life is spent working to be successful. Different people have different interpretations of what success means to them. For some, success is measured by wealth and your social status; for others success is determined by how happy you are. I believe success is all about reaching goals and being happy. A successful life can only be obtained by pursing your passion, maintaining healthy relationships, and putting self-approval over the approval of others.
It amazes me the number of individuals who chose careers based on money rather than what they like to do. Too many people believe if they have more money, a bigger house, and larger title; they will be more successful. In reality people who are passionate about their work are

There is no way to be truly happy if you are not confident in who you are. It is easy to acknowledge what you are lacking or wish you had, accepting what you do have and embracing it is one of the biggest challenge and I feel that overcoming this obstacle is what greatly determines success. When you believe in yourself you are more likely to take initiactive. Success is not about how society sees you, but how you see yourself. You have to know yourself and your personal motivators if you want to travel the road of personal success and happiness. By loving yourself, you open up the possibility for others to love you, too. Work to remove the psychological blinders that restrict your own growth. Understand yourself and your motives and the influences in your life and open yourself up. Our true beauty lies in the complexity of our emotions, our vulnerabilities and our imperfections. When you decide to embrace the authentic you, instead of who you think others want you to be, you give yourself the opportunity to experience real success and real happiness in your
Success is a word that really hard to define, because everyone will have a different definition for this word. In fact, there no exact definition for the word "success". For a student, maybe the success means to pass all courses of the semester; for a business man, signing a importance contract and get a lot of money are successes; and for a president, leading the country to develop and make the people have a better life are success. When I was a kid, I really want to be a scientist, but after I become mature, my thinking has become more mature and my definition of success also
What is success? How does one succeed in life? A few moments' thought will convince us that the question is by no means an easy one to answer. We say this, that, or the other man is successful, but what do we mean by it? One man has houses and lands, has a large bank account, drives fast horses and has many apparent friends, such a man is accounted successful. Yet all of these things that minister to his pleasure have been acquired by unremitting labor, by hard, avaricious dealings with his fellow-men, by trampling upon the hearts and affections of thousands; in the face of these facts is the man a successful one?
I define success as trying you're hardest no matter what and persevering through everything that you try. You may not get through the problem that you are having. Even though you didn't complete the challenge that you were having if you got as much out of the task that was placed in front of you, then you have succeeded. I also define success as when you set a goal for you're self or someone else sets a goal for you. If you reach that goal or go above that goal that was set, then you have succeeded. I believe that success is not just finishing you're work, test or challenge, if you finish it but do not do you're best and try you're hardest, then I believe that you are not successful in what you just did, but if you go as hard as you can, not

What is success? Is success something that you can eat? Is it a physical object you can touch or a psychological feeling in the mind? Success is characterized differently by various people. For some people it means wealth. Others it means happiness. To me, success means making sure my family is living a healthy happy life. It means making valuable life decisions and having a feeling of belonging. Success is not only about helping yourself reach full potential. It is about bringing others along and giving them the opportunity to excel together in life.
Is Success all about wealth and popularity? Or does it have a deeper meaning than what we perceive. Success: an accomplishment of an aim or purpose. We all seem to want success. We all tend to seek it. “Success” seems to be the magic word for what we chase after, prepare for, choose, and desire. It’s how we often define our lives. Money, fame, and power are often what we have been told make up success.
"Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.”
Success. It comes in various ways. A lot of times people like to base their success on the level of their achievement, I am one of those people. As a perfectionist it’s difficult to maintain a level head when I fail or succeed. Failures occurred to me all the time. Even when success was reached I find myself looking for more. Resilience was the most important life lesson I learned through sports. I taught myself to not give in when I faced an obstacle. Whether it meant going down 2-0 early in a game or having to play a game without my team’s top goal scorer, my resilience was what kept me working till the very end. Throughout my entire soccer career I never really felt success. Of course there were small spurts of successes when it came to
All around there are many different viewpoints of what success means. One person could read straight from the dictionary and tell you that’s what they view success to be. As for me, success is accomplishing something you put your all into. What better feeling than to see the results you were striving for come true in front of your eyes or even just the feeling inside. Success is not all about the money, simply put because money doesn’t buy happiness. The money that was earned could be the reward received from what your success in, or something even more valuable to one person. The feeling of changing someone’s life for the better for the both of you, or to dedicate your life to something you love with your whole heart and whole soul, basically
What is success? Is it the process of doing a task and receiving a positive result acceptable amongst the community, or is it simply achieving ones own personal goals? Success to me can mean many things. Although I am successful in school, that does not necessarily mean I will lead a successful life.
Many people describe success as being wealthy and famous. That isn’t exactly the case though. Lots of well-known celebrities do not even enjoy what they’re famous for. A famed person could not be satisfied with their life, while someone who doesn’t have as much is very positive. Success can be a little bit different for everyone, but there are some specific qualities every truly successful human have. Some of the ways success can be defined is a person loves what their occupation is, they have achieved their goals, and they are financially stable.
Have you ever successed in thing at all in your life? I have successed in my life by passing all my grades, I successes in my life, and I successed in all the games I played on my x-box 360 or my play station 2,. What dose success means to you it means to me was to pass it by.
A seven thousand square foot home fully equipped with state-of-the-art appliances. A Mercedes-Benz parked in the driveway. A six-figure salary. A vacation home large enough to house an average family of four that’s used solely in the summer. What do all of these items have in common? They represent the possessions an American ideal of what success is. In America, bigger is considered to be better, and more is considered to be, well, more. But what is success, anyway? The Oxford Dictionary of English defines success as: The accomplishment of an aim or purpose. If that were the definition that Americans truly believed represented success, then wouldn’t nearly every citizen living in America be considered successful? Everybody has a purpose. Everybody strives to reach their goals and aspirations. Success shouldn’t be represented by materialistic items. Success is a feeling that comes from within and is unique to each individual. Who is anyone to say that a person whose lifelong aim was to own a dog is any less successful than someone whose lifelong dream was to own a law firm? Being successful is being content with one’s life. Therefore, nobody’s definition of success should be the same.
Everybody has set a goal for them self’s one way or another. Whether or not they achieve that goal is a totally different story. People shouldn’t base their goals too high or too low, but in the middle. This is because basing your goal too high would most likely lead to failure, and basing your goals too low will not give you any passion or self-confidence. Goals that are set in the middle aren’t to easy to not give you that confidence boost, and not too hard to complete. Once completing those goals, you will want to set new and harder goals. This to me is my definition of success.
Most people commonly describe success, as being wealthy in life. This is not the meaning entirely, the definition of success is simple. A person is successful, if he or she has very good payment at his or her work and if he or she is happy with the job, they are doing. Education really leads to success. If a person has good education, he or she can choose their careers and be successful at it. Education is a form of learning in which the knowledge and skills is being transferred from a group of people to another or from a generation to the next, through teaching and training. Any experience that has a formative effect on the way someone thinks feels and acts can be said to be educational. Apart from education, other different traits lead
