Before Cronus had a chance to swallow Zeus, Rhea took him to Mount Crete. When Zeus got older he caused his father to throw up his brothers and sisters and together they destroyed Cronus.
Zeus’ affinity for being the main character of a myth is no different in the epic myth about his fight against Cronus and the Titans or the “Titanomachy.” In this larger-than-life battle Zeus has to overthrow his father Cronus and take his predestined place as king of the gods. In this myth however, Zeus has to grow and overcome many challenges that stand in his way to greatness. Zeus has to ask for help from his mother in order to be able to free his sibling from his father Cronus who had swallowed them whole. After Zeus frees his siblings he has to face the mighty Titans, so he asks the Cyclops and the Hecatonchires to aid him in this battle that lasts

Zeus overthrew his father while in battle and took the throne at Mount Olympus. After the defeat of their father, the three brothers had to determine who rules what aspect of the Earth. Although many think it was not a very smart way to decide, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades drew lots. Arguably, Zeus ultimately won. He became the god of the sky and ruler of all the other Olympians. Altercations between Olympians were settled by Zeus and he also could punish their wrongdoings. Since he was the god of the sky, Zeus could create storms, darkness, droughts, or even hurricanes on Earth. If he was ever furious, lightning bolts could have been hurled to the Earth as punishment. He also cherished the mortals on Earth. They would be rewarded for being honest and fair, while being punished for thievery or cruelty. During the revolt of his father, Zeus gained the help of Prometheus, a titan at the time. Prometheus secretly gave mortals fire and metalworking skills after Cronus was overthrown. Zeus began to get very angry at Prometheus, so he punished him severely. He had Prometheus bound to a stone with an eagle devouring his liver every

Commentary: Gaea and Rhea are looked at as the mothers who actually wanted their children to be able to thrive, unlike their spouses. Both Uranus and Cronus were willing to sacrifice their children to continue being the ruler. However, by doing this to the people they were supposed to love most they created a tension between the family that was not going to go away. So, by trying to stay in power Uranus and Cronus actually were the reason their family retaliated against them and took their power away. Finally, Zeus comes along and does not make the same mistakes and his dad and his dad’s dad. Instead, he learn from their obvious mistakes, defeats Cronus and starts being the leader everyone was waiting for. This connects to the story in the news right now about a Lion being shot in Africa. It connects because the lion that was shot was the male, now if another male comes to take over the dead lions territory it will kill all of the children to regain
Mother earth helped Zeus brothers and sisters by giving them 50 head monster because long time ago they were trapped in the stone cave so Zeus released them.

Foie Gras, a delicacy which originated in France but has since spread to other parts of the world, is made from the fatty liver of force-fed geese and ducks. Some people argue the birds are subject to animal cruelty in the production of the delicacy. A June 27th ban of the dish makes it illegal for foie gras to be produced or sold in Sao Paulo. This law in Brazil's largest city, gives restaurants 45 days to comply with the ban or face a 5,000 Brazilian Real (about $1,600) fine.
The mother of monsters raised her children to oppose Greek gods and Heroes within the community. Eventually Echidna was killed by Argus Panoptes, the hundred-eyed giant that served Hera, the goddess of marriage.

DHEA is the most abundant circulating endogenous steroid hormone in the human body; it is a precursor to other steroids such as androgen, and estrogen sex steroids. DHEA is synthesized in the central and peripheral nervous system (i.e- adrenal glands, gonads and the brain). It is also a neuroactive steroid which acts on the nervous system. DHEA and its sulfate ester DHEAS are produced in the brain and the adrenal gland, brain DHEA acts locally while adrenal DHEA acts systemically. DHEA is one of the most potent neuroactive neurosteroids, and a decline of both brain and systemic DHEA due to advancing age has been associated to neuronal dysfunction and degeneration such as: Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s diseases, stroke, and multiple and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The treatments available today for treating neurodegenerative diseases are symptomatic and do not prevent or slow the
