Gary Ridgway was born in salt lake city, Utah as the second of three sons to his parents Mary and Thomas Ridgway. He grew up in an abusive household with a domineering mother who would bully him and belittle him for wetting the bed into his teenage years, and a father who would tell him stories about necrophiliac acts his co workers would commit at his job as a mortician. His school life wasn't that great either. He had an IQ of 82 which caused him to repeat two grades. No one really remembered him. He was the kind of kid that faded into the background and the unnoticed one in school photos. He played football in high school but none of his coaches could even remember what position he played. He was the type of kid who didn’t really stand out. Many of his classmates remembered him as a nice guy, but pretty average. But this was only the side he wanted them to see. Behind the scenes he was a boy who had feeling of anger and sexual attraction towards his mother, and a boy who lead a six-year-old boy to the woods and attempted to murder him when he was only 16. The boy survived and said he remembered Ridgeway walking away laughing and saying “i always wondered what it would be like to kill someone."
“Go sweep the shop!” Nelson growled. This is heard a lot from South Hamilton’s shop teacher. He has been at this school for 24 years and has not stopped yelling at his students. So, what has this old, grouchy man done in his life? Once Gary Nelson graduated high school he had a low draft number and knew he would be drafted into the army, so he volunteered as a Navy Corpsman.
There were several things that stood out about Gary Beikirch’s experiences on April 1, 1970 that could have led to his development of PTSD. On April 1st, Gary experienced a multi-faceted critical incident in which, he was several wounded (several times) by gun and rocket fire in a horrific attack from the enemy. As a medic, Beikirch not only witnessed many deaths but also lost his “battle buddy” and close friend, Deyo. Deyo was killed while saving Gary’s life. The horrible circumstances of Deyo’s death would trigger survivor’s guilt. The intense impact of all the devastating loss of lives all around him, lose of security, fellow soldiers, his close friend, and his own multiple life-threatening injuries, would definitely be enough for Gary

In Salt Lake City, Utah, on Feb. 18, 1949, Ridgway was born the second of three brothers. The first brother being born in 1948 and the second 1951. Their parents, Thomas Newton and Mary Rita Ridgway, lived in a rented room close to a local high school. The home still stands at 4404 S. 175th Street, in the neighborhood called McMicken Heights. Growing up, Gary had an issue with wetting the bed. My favorite place to go would be Branson. There are three main reasons why i like to go and spend some time in branson.
To say that Gary Baseman is just a famous artist is submit to the most banality. Originál rude boy Gary Baseman has created what are perhaps some of the most spellbinding, intimate illustrations possible of LA’s Fairfax District, Gods of the Secret Society, and his cornucopia of mythical creatures. Blurring the traditional ideas between fine art, advertising, and animation, his body of work is seemly boundless. In addition to producing some of most iconic paintings and sculptures of the past two decades, his preoccupations span from designing a full spectrum of consumer merchandise (either for his own Gary Baseman label or for notorious fashion labels such as Coach and Frau Blau) to running galleries all across the globe- to name just a few
