Gracie is a 2007 American film about a teenage girl that wants to play soccer, but Gracie fights for her right to play soccer. Gracie goes through a series of judgments and obstacles, beginning with her dad’s rejection to work with her as he had, daily, with Johnny. “Dad,” she wonders, so sadly, “Did you ever wish I were a boy?” During her father’s early refusal to address her desire to play soccer, Gracie finds other behaviors to aggravate her father, dating one of the soccer players, drinking and smoking cigarettes and even coming close to having sex in a car. The movie is based on the youthful experiences of Elisabeth Shue. There are countless parts in this film's admittedly anticipated plot. There are some other great movies about women with men dominated sports that are inspired by true stories like Million Dollar Baby and A League of Their Own. Another movie that is not based on a true is Little Giants.

The wisdom of George Carlin with his spoken word. Carlin was well-known for his black comedy and opinions on politics, psychology, religion, and various taboo subjects, but I agree what Carlin has to say about men and women. Here is an excerpt from When Will Jesus Bring The Pork Chops, Carlin says, “Men are from Earth, women are from Earth. Deal with it” Similar to George Carlin, James Emman Kwegyir Aggrey gave a speech to Achimota College that Aggrey says, “The surest way to keep people down is to educate the men and neglect the women. If you educate a man you simply educate an individual, but if you educate a woman, you educate a whole nation” In Gender Communication class, I learned that a person could educate a man, you educate a man.
