36 year old, R&B pop, singer-songwriter Guy Theodore Sebastian was born in Klang, Malaysia. He is the second oldest of four sons. His older brother Ollie was born in India, then 10 years later, the family decided to migrate to Australia in 1988 after his younger brothers Chris and Jeremy were born. They lived in Melbourne, Victoria for several years before moving to Adelaide, South Australia due to his father’s work. Guy’s interest in music started at a young age. He took violin lessons and later self taught himself the guitar, drums, piano and by the age of 14, he started singing.
Music Career
In December 2003, Guy Sebastian’s first album “Just As I Am” released and immediately achieved number one on the album charts. In the first week 165,000 copies were sold and scored the second highest one week sales in Australian chart history. By now, Australian’s recognized the young man with his afro hair, incredible singing voice and songwriting abilities was a talented step for the world stage.
