My book report is on the book 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone' by J.K.
The Statue of Liberty, also known as Lady Liberty, for me is the most intriguing part of New York City. It is a symbol of hope, freedom, and a better life in the United States. It is widely known that Lady Liberty was the first thing immigrants saw when they came to America, this architectural structure was a symbol of hope and freedom. What intrigues me the most is, Why would France just give us a an expensive copper statue? I never understood this until right now, everyone knows what she symbolizes, she is the Statue of Liberty. The word 'liberty' is related to the word 'liberated', which means to free. For example, U.S. soldiers helped 'liberate' Jews from the concentration camps in Germany after World War 2. The statue was given to us to represent freedom, the concept on which our great country was born on. Not just any freedom, a true freedom, a freedom in which we are not subservient to a king. In a sense, we are being liberated from being servants to the kingdom. It is our country and we want to protect and defend it because we are fighting for a cause, not just some person who wears a crown because of the family he was born in to.
Anne gave birth to Elizabeth I on September 7th, 1533, much to the dismay of Anne and Henry, who had been hoping for a son. Despite the disappointment, the little princess was treated adoringly by her parents. Unfortunately for the baby, Anne died only three years later, leaving precious little time for the two to bond together.
Dominique and his family were in a good mood when the QP met with them for a session.
After the death of her sister Mary, Queen Elizabeth I inherited the throne in 1558. Due to the poor leadership shown by the previous queen, England was desperate for improved nobility. Using her independent mindset, Queen Elizabeth I created a more efficient manner of running England and impacting relationships with other societies by truly engaging with the people that she inserted into the government.

Anne Boleyn, referred to as the great whore of England or the goggle-eyed whore, opened the door to such name calling when she had finally helped push Queen Catherine out of their Kings place in his heart. In the eyes of the people, Anne Boleyn was fully to blame for the sudden wicked changes that took place in King Henry the VIII. They adored and seemed to back Queen Catherine of Aragon, and still saw her as their rightful Queen. Their love for Queen Catherine greatly blinded them to even viewing the good that did exist within Anne Boleyn. It was not just the love for Queen Catherine that caused the walls to be built between their acceptance of Anne Boleyn however; after all, it was Anne Boleyn who had closed the eyes of their King to behaving morally and religiously in the right.
Born in 1501, Anne Boleyn was the second wife of King Henry VIII, and served as Queen of England in the 1530s. Boleyn was born in England, but moved to France for most of her childhood, and upon returning to England in 1522, worked for King Henry VIII's court as maid of honor to his queen consort at the time, Catherine of Aragon. It was Anne Boleyn’s sister, Mary Boleyn, who first introduced Anne to King Henry VII. Upon meeting her, King Henry VII had already begun swooning for her. He proposed to her the thought of her being his one and only mistress, which she, to most people’s surprise, refused immediately. According to Boleyn, she was not interested in being a mistress, only a wife, which she claimed was impossible so long he was married to Catherine of Aragon.
I remember the first time I learned how to ride a bike, my father had brought me out to Liberty State Park. Now Liberty State Park was in my opinion very scenic and beautiful, surrounded by the Hudson River, American flags rippling in the air, and the Manhattan Skyline across the river but what stood out to me the most less than 2,000 feet away was the Statue of Liberty. There she stood towering above me in the distance. It was there when I first became intrigued and fascinated with the Statue of Liberty. Fascinated to this day about how the statue came to be and what it has come to symbolize over the years.

Within the story, there are two characters that reappear constantly throughout the story and they are able to impact the storyline greatly, however these two characters are in jail in different ways. In the book, Great Expectations written by Charles Dickens, he is able to display this constantly throughout the book. These two characters specifically are Miss Havisham as well as Magwitch. Behind Every Man of Power is a Lady Telling Them Exactly What to Do: The Differences in Character Development of Eilonwy in Lloyd Alexander’s The Book of Three and Hermione in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
B is for Boy who lived is what people nickname him because he survived the attack from Voldemort
However, it also appears that, in the first books at least, her intelligence is also what contains her. Nowadays, bookishness and academic achievement are considered feminine, and girls are supposed to be the one taking their studies seriously, work hard and be good at them, while boys are supposed to be the one being adventurous, and not compulsory good at school. And Hermione seems to fit this stereotypical nerd girl role, as well illustrated by the troll scene in the first book: “I went looking for the troll because I—I thought I could deal with it on my own—you know, because I’ve read about them” (Rowling, 1997, PS, p.190).. To protect the ones who have protected her, she changes the version of what truly happened for the teachers, and
