Everyone has their own idea of what a hero is and what a hero does. Most people think that guys like superman and batman are heroes because they have incredible superpowers and they are famous people who receive glory. Many people describe heroes as strong and indestructible people, however, heroes are actually not always famous and they are not always the way that society portrays them. In fact, most heroes are ordinary people who do extraordinary things and have notable traits for society to follow. Although heroes are mostly overlooked or misinterpreted by many people, a hero is always a courageous, selfless, and persistent person who has the determination to create change for the better.

Ricky Martin once said, “Heroes represent the best of ourselves, respecting that we are human beings. A hero can be anyone from Ghandi to your classroom teacher, anyone who can show courage when faced with a problem. A hero is someone who is willing to help others in his or her best capacity.” Almost anyone can be a hero, as long as they have the courage and the maturity to understand and respect those who they attempt to help. Despite the fact that a hero cannot save everyone, being heroic is about placing others before oneself and strive to help those who need it the most.

In poetry and in song, literature, and action movies, the hero embodies the qualities of bravery, strength, and honor. According to Merriam-Webster, a hero is a mythological or legendary figure often of divine descent endowed with great strength or ability: a warrior: a person admired for achievements and noble qualities: one who shows great courage. While others define this concept as a trustworthy cause a selfish or unselfish act. On the other hand, a hero is someone who stands for integrity and justice for all mankind and willingly put his life in peril for that belief. As noted there will always be different definitions of a hero as of the diverse perspective on the issue.

The definition of a hero is not a simple dictionary definition. Heroism is a complex idea, but many people in history have been regarded as heroes. These great figures were honored by all, it is they who embody heroism. They made a large change for the better in our society. While this change is what made them stand out, all you need to be is one who helps and trusts others even if you have to sacrifice something for them.

Gerard Way once said “All the best heroes are ordinary people who make themselves extraordinary”. There are many people in the modern society that others consider heroes, such as a soldier that is serving our country overseas or a fireman saving people from a burning building. Without question, there are many heroes in “The Outsiders” by S. E. Hinton, however two of the books heroes that have a great impact on the story are Dallas Winston and Johnny Cade. Without a doubt, heroes can be found everywhere doing amazing things. A true hero is someone who goes out of their way to help or save someone or something.

Still to this day, heroes are portrayed as people who risk their lives in order to help others, but is that what a hero really is? A hero can also be somebody who is loyal, honest, and selfless, and they don’t necessarily have to risk their lives for others. Furthermore, everyday heroes are the people who influence the world such as a mother and father, who are heroes to their kids, to doctors and surgeons who are always saving lives.

“A hero is someone who voluntarily walks into the unknown” Tom Hanks said. I too agree with him that heroes are important. Whether it is firefighter or a soldier, they both are needed in our lives. To be considered a good hero you must be confident, careful, and cooperative.

A hero is somebody who inflicts an unforgettable act of positivity, either for their community or towards the world. Heroes require certain qualities that will cause them to be their very best. These qualities include extreme willpower, durability, and independence. Although many people think it’s difficult being a hero, there have been many ordinary men and women throughout history that have influenced the society we live in today. The people chosen are leaders not just in America, but around the globe.

Well, the obvious answer would be that they are all superheroes. However, as one grows up and matures, the ideas of what makes a hero can begin to change. In our life we always need someone super hero to help us in difficult situations but this is not just happened in fairy tales also in real life. We have seen ,listened and read a lot of heroes and their stories such as in television, radio and books. According to Oxford Dictionary, hero is defined as" a person who has good act, noble achievements and great qualities."This word comes from Latin . Oprah Winfrey and Angelina Jolie who believed in their duty to help poor people underprivileged, and sick people .The hero demonstrates humanitarian and giving generosity without waiting a give back from others.

When we think of heroes most of us think of movie stars or professional athletes, but it’s not always about your popularity or talent it can also be about how you help society. What I think make a great hero is someone who is able to overcome his or her obstacles in life, is highly motivated, and has plenty of bravery.

When the word "hero" is spoken, everyone has different thoughts. Some will think of super powers like flying and saving people from villains; while others have a certain person they know or have heard of that come to mind who have done something to make a difference in the lives of others but who is a hero to you? To answer this question you must first ask yourself what a hero is; what comes to your mind when someone says the word. When I am confronted with these questions I always have the same thoughts; smart, strong will power, and someone who stands up for what they believe is right.
