Hi Silvi Persuasive Writing

It’s always a good feeling when you begin to see progress in your athletes that you’ve been working with. There will be times throughout our career in which we may become discouraged because we are not getting the results we expect. As we get deeper and deeper into this rotation I’m realizing just how complicated the medical field is, it’s not black and white as most would expect. But I’m glad to hear all is going well and great job on the evaluation. I feel that way too sometimes my athletes are pretty bulky so when I palpate I go based off my anatomy but I rarely feel anything.

Hulu has been one of the best competing online television viewing services, along with Netflix, Amazon Instant Video and Google Videos, and has been my favorite choice to view all kinds of TV Shows. An interesting and captivating show is the “Chef Race: UK. Vs. US.”—the Season 1. It comprises of several Episodes playing on Hulu. In today’s highly competitive world of sports, some athletes look to supplements as a way to get an edge on the competition. Athletes of all ages and abilities are using dietary supplements to try and improve their performance in some way or another. Whether that’s in strength, speed, and/or endurance, athletes are constantly bombarded with advertisements claiming dramatic improvements. One of the newer supplements offered to athletes is Quercetin.

There has been a lot of debate on whether we are keeping our earth clean and preserving our trees. In “the Lorax” as time passes all the trees are cut down and there are no more of them. There is little air, no trees, and air has to be packaged in bottles. The debate is whether or not we will end up like that, and the answer is yes. We are cutting down trees at a faster rate than we are replacing them and I imagine that they will all be gone in the next 300 years.

When it comes to persuasive writing techniques, it is key that you write with your audience in mind. You want to persuade others to act or think a certain way, so focus your article on what matters most to them and not what you deem personally important.

Think about this: what do you do when you see a man proposing to a girl? Do you savor that moment and think about how it might happen to you. Or do you whip out your phone and take a picture or video, and think, this is going to be cool to show my friends! Let's try another scenario: you're walking along and you see a deer! Oh, what a majestic deer! Are you going to take a picture, potentially scaring it away, or do you smile at it and stare for a while looking at its glorious beauty. Last one: you're driving and you see a car crash and flip over. What do you do? Is your first instinct to run over to the car and help the person in need by calling 911 or getting them out of the car, or are you going to take you your phone and record the whole

Raelynn was breaking. She was losing control of herself, the tightly leashed grip she had on every facet of her life was literally being handled over to this demon. To be honest, she didn't know if she enjoyed or despised it - perhaps both in fact. I’ll change the topic another five, ten, or even fifteen, potentially more, times before finally giving up and hope I can spread out what I have enough to achieve the goal.

During my undergraduate and work experience the method that was mostly utilized was the persuasive writing style. Using this writing style allowed me to present my work in a manner that gave the readers the necessary information to better comprehend what was written.

Argumentative and persuasive witting are sometimes hard to distinguish from one another. The goal of persuasion writing is to conquer or win over your audience while the goal of argumentative writing is to “convince by demonstrating the truth” (Barnet; Bedau, pg.71). Argumentative writing is defined as “a genre of writing that requires the student to investigate a topic; collect, generate, and evaluate evidence; and establish a position on the topic in a concise manner.” There are many different literary components that contribute to a strong argumentative writing. Good argumentative writing must include strong evidential support, it must actually make a claim that can be argued or refuted, and the author must be able to effectively

The purpose of a persuasive text is made to be evident, clear, and easy to identify. Fulfilling the purpose is not as straight forward. When writing a persuasive text, it is the author's job to argue a position and to change a reader's opinion of that position. The writer must be able to serve a clear, concise argument with persuasive techniques.
