The America I believe in is made up of amazing veterans, an educational system, and freedom to make life choices. I feel very lucky to live in America. One of the great things is that our servicemen keep us safe. They have to leave their families for a really long time and miss a lot of special times with them, for example, birthdays, graduations and weddings. They put their lives in danger to protect our freedom. Sometimes they do not live in good conditions or have the best food. We should honor our servicemen and veterans for protecting our freedom. The America I believe in has a great educational system. It does not matter where you live or how much money you have, you can go to school. We have preschools, grade schools, junior
America gave my generation Freedom and the right to vote. My generation should respect the veterans more and we should be thankful for our freedom. My generation should respect the veterans more because the fought for the rights we have today we should be thankful, we should not take granit for it. Another thing is that they fought and they lost their brother and they fought on even though they were mourning on their loss. The last thing is why should you disrespect your veterans without them we would not have the rights we have today.
I believe America's veterans should be honored because they have helped to keep freedom in our country. Without them we would have lost many important wars which have affected our freedom and quality of life. They have kept our country strong and full of pride. I think they were very brave for being on the front lines of our wars and battles. Even those who were not on the front lines but served as backups were brave for helping and supporting those that were fighting on the battlefields. They are courageous for putting their lives in danger
Soldiers deserve honor and recognition for defending the freedom of the United States. They risk their lives so other Americans do not have to, and they are rightfully thanked for their work. Honoring soldiers is viewed as respectful and lets the soldiers know that Americans value their sacrifices for our country. However, for some people commending soldiers is often more about their own personal gain and self-esteem than about respecting the soldier. Honoring soldiers is often used as an excuse to boost popularity, increase personal satisfaction, and worst of all, to make money. Mention book
Having a good education in America is not a hard thing to get. The government has insured that we have one of the best educational systems in the world. “We are ranked 14 out of 40 countries in the world for having the best education” (www.pewresearch.org). We as Americans are lucky to have an outstanding educational system for our kids and all of the generations to come to learn and develop from. Unlike some countries, where they have little to no schooling, America has the resources to give the children, young adults, and even adults, the education they deserve. Plus, most education is free or close to free. In comparison to the forty countries stated above, America comes up short. In some cases, low income schools cannot afford simple necessities, such as paper and
America has given us free education. We can have an education without having to think about the cost of our

Our freedoms are the most important to me. They come at a great expense of people’s lives to save somebody they have never even met. Our freedoms are what separates us from other countries. We have the ability to bear arms and let our heads invent wonderful inventions. As proclaimed in a favorite song, “Home of the free because of the brave.” Veterans of all wars and battles have and experienced events that nobody else could possibly dream of, other than in nightmares. Therefore, we should honor
We can honor veterans by taking a few minutes out of our day to honor the soldiers at 11:00 am. Some interesting facts are that the Time that Germany signed a truce is at 11:00 on the 11th day of the 11th month. The president or one of his representatives leaves a wreath on the tomb of unknown soldiers. I think that all soldiers should be remembered for their
The America I believe in is the one with rights. We have the right to go to school. We also have the right to vote for the president in steed of having a dictator we can choose our own religion. Any one can salute Old Glory.
You walk down the street. You eat, live safely, and are educated at a top notch. You, luckily like I, were given these rights without fighting for it. But some people, heroes, fight and give their lives for us. They’ve confined themselves to a life of fighting and violence to give us peace, and they’re haunted by the gunshots and war. Though not all veterans have killed a man or two, they’ve all risked their lives and threw their lives into an area of force that could result in pain or worse; and we can’t even thank them. It’s honestly sad that we, as people, don’t thank our veterans enough. After all they’ve done, you all stand here and only give them one day of honour per year, meanwhile they give years of dedication to us. Can’t we give
Do you know anyone who served in the military? We need to thank those who protect and serve us. Soldiers risk their lives in the military. My Uncle and my dad both served their country. Many veterans do not receive the honor and recognition they truly deserve. All veterans have an impact on the lives of the people around them. The veteran who has had the greatest impact on my life is my grandpa. My grandpa was in the army from 1967 to 1969. He served one tour during the Tet offensive with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. He received three purple heart and several other medals. He was honorably discharged and I am proud to call him my grandpa. Out of the may reasons he and all veterans should be honored the best three reasons are his service, his work ethic, and the impact he has made on my life.
