The world today seems to be heading outside its limits. The same way India has decided to launch its orbiter into Mars and become one of the few countries with this ability. But, there are many problems that India will face and many issues that they must look into before focusing on such a drastic occasion that will change the view of the world. India needs to realize the downfall within its country before reaching out and helping others.
The ignored economy. To begin anything, the first step is to recognize the capital resources needed to start such a big task. Kaul (2013) reported that more than 65% of India consists of poor people that fall below the poverty line; additionally, the Press Trust of India (2013) released that India makes

One of the more important investments is in the field of meteorology where weather forecasters and communication satellites could have been crafted (Hsu, 2013). The other argument that India faced and is relevant to the use of technology is that the orbiter created by the ISRO cannot carry much weight and is slower than previous orbiters created by other countries (Hsu, 2013). Bennett (2013) discussed that the problems in India and around the world are so high that India could have used that technology to resolve issues on Earth.
Ulterior motive. No person, let alone country, is free of thinking for their own interest. This sort of criticism is rational and is the same thought that Bennett (2013) stated. The reason that India is after releasing the orbiter in a hurry (Hsu, 2013) is because they might want to be ahead of China since they are India’s rivals (Bennett, 2013). The other fact is that previous orbiters, more than half, had failed, making India more interested in launching the orbiter and redefining their image (Hsu, 2013; Bennett, 2013). This mission is criticized for portioning the rich from the poor people says (A.R., 2013). It is the perfect cover for the elites and socialites to take control of the resources that would be extracted from Mars (A.R., 2013).
The fight for power. The one thing everyone wants to avoid is war and political dramas. Hume (2013) mentioned that India’s launch of the orbiter is just a fight over power
During the film, the subject of poverty was actively depicted. Even though this issue has raised great concerns for India in the past, statistics show that this problem has gradually decreased. In 1978 the percentage of people living on less than $2
Since the beginning of time, people have been curious, and are always trying to explore. But now it is 2017, and we have to understand what we should do and what we shouldn’t do. People today have a good idea about the hazards of space travel and know the consequences space travel can have for people. And after considering Andy Weir's statement regarding travel to Mars, I am of the opinion that we as a nation should not fund a manned mission to Mars in the near future because it will be very expensive, we have a larger need to explore places here on Earth, and it purposes a large danger to the people traveling in space.
Since the development of large and efficient rockets, space exploration has become reality. The numbers of reasons behind it are for scientific research, national prestige, developing military and strategic advance against other country. The big cost for space exploration has been a debate between the pros and contras. Some people say that space exploration gives useful advantages for the future life inspite of the big cost. However, other people say that the big amount of money is better used to solve the problems on the earth. I my self think that the problems on the earth is more important than the space exploration. Space exploration still can go on as long as they don’t spend much money.
There are a couple viewpoints to consider when it comes to the topic of space exploration. The Earth is constantly changing and is not going to live forever, but does this mean that humans have a moral obligation to find and explore habitable worlds outside of our own for the soul purpose of inhabiting them? According to Colin Barras, fossil records indicate/predict that Earth still has about a whopping 3.5 billion years until it dies (Barras, 2015). That is more than just a spec on even Earth's timeline. However, even though some scientists estimate that Earth has a couple billion years left to live, that doesn't necessarily mean that the living beings that thrive off of Earth's natural resources are going to be able to live on this planet for 3.5 billion more years. Serious negative effects of global climate change can grow to be extremely devastating and could kill off the human race as well as other plant and animal species. So, searching for another planet to live on is not such a terrible, far-fetched idea after all.
So many adults and young people alike are in awe of the seemingly limitless skies that are made visible on a clear night. But while we stare in wonder, without the help of space-borne telescopes, we could only imagine what threats the cosmos has to offer.
“I am proud to be part of a species where a subset of its members willingly put their lives at risk to push the boundaries of our existence,” said by Neil deGrasse Tyson. With this quote you, the reader, can clearly see the impact that space exploration has had on society but, why should the United States continue to fund the space program? Well, the United States should continue to fund the space program because, it can improve the medical field, improve weather forecasting to keep more citizens safe, and it can provide breakthroughs in technology and within society. With this, I believe the the united states would continue funding the space program and allowing us to push the limits of space.
As we see that with the passage of time, there is alteration in technology and the world has become a global village by bringing the people near to each other. Technology has broadened the minds of people because it provide us immense source for information and entertainment (Anjugu, 2013). Beside this, it has made man’s life very easy and also changed their lifestyle. Communication Satellite Corporation was the first commercial space communication company created by United States Congress in 1962. “International Telecommunication Satellite Organization” (INTESAT) was a partnership deal signed government of United States and eleven allied nations in
The world today revolves around technology and is in an ever upward spiraling path of new advancements. This path is now at what some people call the “final frontier”, or the space age. The discoveries being made on this front are overwhelming in comparison to the technology that the world had only twenty years ago. Space exploration was once left up to the governments, as they battled to be the first country in space, but with national debts raising and the cuts made in response, space exploration is beginning to become new grounds for private business owners. Private companies are already beginning to send off rockets at a fraction of the cost that government does, but if more money was put into the government space program, then they
By going to mars you could also help the population of planet earth. If you took the risky trip to mars you would be able to experience new substances, but, you wouldn't be able to physically touch them. The other side doesn’t understand that there are too many dangers that can be easily made that can cost the life of a person.
There are many contributing factors on why Space Exploration should no longer be legal. First of all, the cost of the whole process is excessive. Although it is used on exploration, it can also be used to reduce the amount of poverty in underdeveloped countries. Many countries are struggling severely with poverty, and meanwhile there are chances that the exploration will fail.
The continued launching of spacecraft by NASA and other national space organizations however, as this essay intends to demonstrate, is an antiquity that is nearing the end of its usefulness. The appropriation of space launch capabilities by the private industry is fundamental to increased accessibility to space; furthermore, it is essential for the long-term health of the scientific pursuits to which NASA is dedicated.
NASA’s Space Exploration Programs does not justify the costs because it risks the astronauts lives, it costs a lot of money, and can cause conflicts between nations.
The very first problem is the issue on budget to send people out to the space and maintain their life. With the current technology, it was described by Elon Musk in wired.com that it would cost around $500 billion to send people off to Mars (Wired.com). Human space exploration is not easy as it had to take in the account of safety for the passengers and their continuous supply of oxygen, food and water. Taking account for better safety for the astronauts, the price to send more people today to the space is way too high that it is one of the reason why there was only one manned mission to the Moon after decades. It is very hard to convince the governments to fund such a project because these space exploration is not seen very significant by the government. From the same source, that idea was also supported by Elon Musk by mentioning how the politicians would not want to
The world today is unstable. There are possibilities of nuclear war, other disasters and population explosions. It’s not a big surprise that the United States could pursue the colonization of space. This will affect everyone’s future and way of life. You should be informed.
From the time of independence, India has been suffering from acute poverty, most of it is chronic in nature. If we look at the percentage of people below the poverty line, we do notice a sharp fall, but the absolute number remains increasing at a high rate.
