Hamlet thinks about killing himself but he decides it’s against God’s commandment. While hamlet was outside the palace he encountered his father’s ghost and he follows it into the woods so he can talk to it. Hamlet is so motivated to get his revenge he does not care who gets in his way. Hamlet doesn’t care if he gets killed in his quest to revenge. Through the whole story Hamlet drove himself more and more insane.

Or that the everlasting had not fixed

How weary, stale, flat, and unprofitable

Hamlet kills Polonius, Rosencrantz, Guildenstern, Laertes, and Claudius in his quest for avenging his father. Hamlet however did not mean to kill Polonius, he was a victim to the cause. “Oh i am slain” (3.4.27) Hamlet thrusts his rapier through the arras and Polonius dies. When Hamlet gets sent to England the king gives a letter to Hamlet to give to the king that says to kill Hamlet when he arrives. Hamlet said before that whatever the king was up to he was going to turn it on Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. So Hamlet read the letter and made a fake one that said to kill Rosencrantz and Guildenstern.

Hamlet doesn’t care if he gets killed in his quest for revenge. Right when Hamlet returns from England him and Larates fights in Ophelia’s grave. Larates already wants to kill Hamlet because he blames Hamlet for Ophelia's death.When hamlet and Laertes duel in a fencing match he puts a point on the end of his sword and puts poison on it so all he has to do is cut him and he will die within thirty minutes. Hamlet gets Laertes sword for the match and stabs him with it and laertes said,
