Many of the drivers in Houston were affected by the increase in gas prices and long lines at the gas stations when Hurricane Harvey hit. Due to Harvey’s landfall, it caused most of the Texas population to flock to the pumps, in fear of a long-term gas shortage. I believe people to be naturally good to others, because there is more kind-hearted people more than cold-hearted people in this world. In this world you will see a handful of people helping and giving to others no matter the situation. The percentage of evil and cruel people is a very low percentage. After everything people all over Texas is coming together, and it shows the good in people that we thought did not have a good heart.

Thursday afternoon my teacher told us a storm was coming and we were probably gonna still go to school. The rain started pouring and it wouldn’t stop. It turned out that this storm was coming from Hurricane Harvey. Tons of water began to fill the streets in my neighborhood; I had never seen the water rise so high because of a storm. Friday night I received a video of my aunts house. Water entered her house flooding it up to her thighs, my baby cousins room was filled with dirty water. I was afraid for many reasons, this was happening to one of my family members.
