I am Kevin Surace. I believe working hard is the key to success, whether it’s goals pertaining to school, sports, or anything that I need improve on. The goals can be academic, athletic, or personal. However, through any goal which I set for myself, I feel the way to get the desired results is to work hard. My life revolves around my work ethic. It’s simple- those who work harder will go farther, and I firmly believe that. Baseball is an extremely large part of my life. I credit my parents and grandparents for getting me into the sport. At about age seven, I did not want to play any sport. Then, I was introduced to real baseball for the first time. When I was young, it was just a game. Now, it is not just a game, it is my dreams and my passion.
Baseball has proven to be the most delightful physical sport due to its competitiveness, entertainment, and its many awed spectators. I agree that baseball is the greatest game ever invented. Baseball can be slow and at some times boring, but every sport contains a boring part within it. Baseball creates a ton of history every single day. The atmospheres at a baseball park is so awesome, especially in a big game like the world
Baseball does many things for me. Baseball gives me the opportunity to get into college someday with cheaper tuition, the privilege to meet new people with the same passion for baseball, and it has gives me the
I grew up in a small town that was very baseball oriented. Everyone in Farmington lived and breathed baseball, as did my family. I played softball for 5 years and both of my brothers dedicated their time to the sport. The best way to show how dedicated the town was, my youngest brother Coby was actually playing on three different teams when we was nine years old.
Baseball is my life. I love baseball so so much. I love everything about the sport. But in my opinion the best part about baseball is when your batting and you hit the ball right on the sweet spot and it goes right past a baseman or even an outfielder. And when your on base and you start stealing a base and your running and running and running and you make it, it feels good.
Baseball is the best sport in the world. To me baseball is my life it is awesome and fun. When I get older I want to make it to the MLB,Because.
Growing up in a family that always played softball led me into the game that shaped my life. I have always had a gift for playing, and it came easy to me. Years of practice, and money spent on travel ball teams steered me into a life filled with softball. Softball was involved with my life all through my childhood and into high school.
Six years ago I played my very first baseball game and I was the pitcher. Now you may think that when I was four I couldn't pitch. Well you were right I just played next to the pitching machine. Getting any baseball that came my way. Popfly, grounder, line drive, you name it I caught it. I was very good at baseball and I loved to play baseball.
When I was little I loved to play baseball and other sports. Although, my favorite sport of them all was baseball. My dad was a really good baseball player when he was young and he taught me everything I know. We would spend hours outside in the yard playing catch. Dad was my first baseball coach when I was little in Bitty Ball. Each year we would practice really hard so I could become a pitcher. I kept working hard at it and when I was a freshman in high school, I tried out for the baseball team and made varsity. I was one of the toughest pitchers on the team and by my senior year I was almost throwing no hitters each game. My favorite year playing baseball was my junior year. All the
Since I was a young boy, baseball has always been my passion. Without baseball I would be missing some of the traits that make up my personality. A few of my traits I gained over the years of playing baseball include leadership, work ethic, and competitiveness. These traits are both important in baseball and in everyday life as a child and an adult.
Most of my life has been surrounded by my favorite sport, which is Baseball. It has pretty much shaped me to be the person I am today, and it has affected me in so many ways to where I can achieve my goals outside of Baseball.
Baseball is the reason I turned out to be the person I am today. It has taught me lifelong lessons that I will carry with me off this earth. The hard work and focus and also the integrity I put into it was because of my coaches. They pushed me every step of the way. When I wanted to give up they were there to tell me keep going strive for greatness. At a young age I tried out for T-Ball, made it to little league where I won most valuable player, and ended my baseball career in high school.
I guess what I love most about the game is you can’t sit on a lead and run out the clock. You have to throw the ball over the plate and play out the results. I will say though I have a hard time watching the game on tv but if I'm at the ballpark or coaching it (which I'm currently doing so this summer) then I can watch it all day long. I think for me there is no other sport that relates to life so much like the game of baseball does. There are so many anthologies I can pull from the game and tie them to life but that's probably a conversation for another day. Baseball is a game of so many highs and lows kinda like how life is. Currently with the American Legion team I’m helping a buddy of mine coach we have experienced highs of winning by mercy rule and come from behind wins after being down 6-0 and winning 8-7 but we have also experienced the lows like losing a close game on a walk off and getting screwed by a horrible call at home plate that cost us another one. The pain of losing stings worse than the joy of winning sometimes. To relate one example from baseball to life is this everyone wants to be around you when things are going good in life but no one wants to do the same when things aren’t.
There have been many variables that have played a huge part in my life to make me the person I am today. Certain situations molded my character and hardened who I was destined to become. A major factor that is part of my genetic code and has helped me perceive the person I am destined to become is the game of baseball. There is something about this great, traditional game that has grasped onto me and never let go. Even as A little kid, I would always go with my cousin to the baseball field and be mesmerized as the game commenced and progressed. The older I got, the more love I grew for the game, and soon enough, the game became an escape from whatever seemed to trouble me. It became not only an addicting getaway but an exhilarating way to
Everyone should play baseball for many reasons. First, it keeps you in pretty good shape since you are very active. Second, it is a very fun and enjoyable sport. Third, it’s a very social sport because it’s a team sport. Lastly, it has a lot to do with individual accomplishment, such as developing skills over time.
We are thankful for baseball. I like baseball. I started baseball when I went to my dad’s softball game. Then, I know I want to play baseball and I just took off. I loved it. I've been playing for 9 years now. I like to play catcher and pitcher. to me baseball is my paycheck.
